Imperial has been around a long time so it’s fairly recent room renovations are welcome. Room and bathroom were nice but there was no cold water in the taps nor shower. It lasted the whole trip even though we reported it. Seemed to be an ongoing issue. Will book again as it’s still the nicest hotel in the area Bar area needs a complete renovation as it’s very very dated

We have booked a long weekend stayed at the hotel in June. It is located close to the long beach which is great for a walk or a run. There is a fantastic cute cafe near the hotel called cafe on the beach. Coffee and pastries were excellent. Breakfast buffet was nothing special but acceptable for the price. Spa and pool facilities were great except that they charge you extra for bath robe and slipper. You have to ask at the reception for those. There is also no travel toothbrush tooth paste or shampoo. We were not expecting to pack them with us as we are used to having them provided by hotels which we have stayed. I would say this is the first time we have experienced this. Staffs were excellent, polite and very welcoming. It is worth staying if you travel close to the area.

First time stay at the Imperial Hythe Hotel, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Impressed by the size of standard room. Enjoyed swimming pool and sauna and steam room very much. Can't wait to return.

I was not expecting much from the hotel we only booked in due to needing somewhere close to stay by Port Lympne, but I won’t be returning, the hotel all needs a bit of a refurbish rooms are a little dated and the pool/spa especially need a massive refresh tiles look mouldy and holes in walls everywhere, there was dust on our bedside tables plus the furniture in the bedrooms were also extremely dated

Lovely clean hotel would happily stay here again. Easy to find and tight on the sea front with a beautiful view from the room. Staff was very friendly and very helpful
