Amazing hotel with amazing staff that went above and beyond for there guests, there is nothing too much trouble for the whole team at the palace. There was an unfortunate fire during the time we were there and during the time the staff from both the palace and the turban made us feel at ease and safe. An extra Thankyou to yigithan from guest relations ❤️ Thankyou so much for all your help and reassurance will definitely be returning ASAP this year. Great work to you all

We had a lovely holiday here last year I was impressed from the word go. Arrived at the hotel late in the evening and it did take a while to register. Our room was close to the lobby and didn't have the best view because of the trees. I had requested two rooms which we got but this was two rooms just divided by some steps, there were meant to be three of us but one didn't come which meant that my daughter and I could have a room each. There was lots of space. We did have an issue with our toilet which got blocked one day and I came back to the room with faces all over the floor. The staff did sort this eventually but took two requests. We loved the hotel itself and was surprised by what it had on offer. The van with bubble tea and milkshakes was a pleasant addition as was the ice cream's which were really high quality. The lady making traditional Turkish patisseries and pancakes was wonderful. There was also a coffee shop type bar which was well received. The pools were freezing so we didn't spend much time in them but went to the indoor spa pool everyday. This could get very busy and the second half of the week was different as a large family party arrived and they literally took over the spa pool and were loud and not pleasant to be around. The jetty was beautiful and snorkelling in the sea was great, joined by lots of fishes. It was very bracing in temperature but once in was fine. Getting around from the hotel was easy, you can walk 10-15 minutes in one direction to get to Icmeler which was quiet and only had a few shops open as we went early in the season at the end of March. In the other direction, about 40 mins of walking you could get to Marmaris. Again we went early in the season so many shops hadn't opened. I didn't appreciate the constant attempts at getting us to buy but it wasn't as bad as some countries I've been to. There is a lovely castle near the dock which was great to look around, some quirky traditional houses to see and great views from the castle. We also went into Marmaris on the bus which you can catch from directly outside the hotel and is very cheap. The food wasn't as plentiful as I'd hoped and was very different to what I've had in other hotels. I felt there was a lack of fresh salads and overall variety, although there was plenty and we always had enough food. The drinks were very hit and miss depending on who served you. The entertainment in the evening was excellent. there was a live band one night which really got the party started with some classic disco songs. The quality of the singing was excellent. One night there were a group of African acrobats which was fantastic and another night a group of traditional Turkish dancers. The quality of the entertainment was high and mostly in the little theatre area onsite which was well worth a visit. Overall this was an excellent holiday and we were blessed with lovely weather gradually improving each day from 21-36 degrees by the end of the week. I think what I di

Thank you to the bar team and to Melisa for a lovely afternoon treat. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and delicious coffee and treats. The best coffee in all of the resort and such an amazing view. Thanks for a 5* service, we will come back every day.

Please think twice before you visit this hotel. We were caught in a fire on the top floor. We were not rescued until 3 hours later. My husband and I and 8 other people were abandoned on our balconys. There were no fire alarms, no lighting. Eventually fire men smashed our door down to rescue us and were taken to hospital. It's been an awful time and the hotel is not admitting any wrong doing. Avoid at all cost.

I stayed here back in April and had an absolutely lovely holiday which I actually didn't expect. The hotel is quite dated and although the rooms are all freshly painted, the feel is very dated and my shower was unusable as it was fixed to face into the corner and couldn't be adjusted which was bizarre and meant I had to use the spa for showering, that is my only complaint. I loved the 24 hour lobby bar and had so much fun, the huge stately lounge is also lovely. I spent my days on the adult jetty, the views are stunning, I loved being surrounded by water. Not much in the way of snorkelling and in April the water was bracing but I still swam daily. The water is more like a lake, no waves, very calm. In fact it feels like you are next to a lake in the Swiss mountains or something, I found the place very healing. Icmeler and Marmaris are a walk away in each direction. Boat trips readily available. I enjoyed the food but did eat a lot of grilled chicken as I won't touch halal meat. The Italian at lunch was my favourite. Had a great time here.

I rarely visit a hotel twice but I have stayed at this hotel 3 years in a row. The greenery and scenic views are sensational. FOOD There's a wide range of food options available during meal times. Kyi restaurant and pine bar serve burgers / salads /tacos /pizza /chips etc, which is a nice change from the main restaurant. If you fancy something lighter, head to coffee corner (cookies / cake / turkish crepe / ice cream). A member of our family is coeliac and the chefs were very accommodating. Kyi restaurant even cooked him GF pasta / pizza! Sandwiches & hot soup are available in the main restaurant all night, which is great for late departures / arrivals. LOCATION Icmeler is walking distance / short taxi ride with a choice of shops and restaurants. Marmaris marina is more lively. The market is great for finding a bargain, you aren't hassled too much. There are plenty of) restaurants / lovely views of the harbour. This turns in to Bar Street at night. ENTERTAINMENT I didn't see much of the animation team during the day / generally interacting with guests. This has always been the case, possibly because the team are winding down as it approaches end of season. There is a kids club that have their own mini pools /slide which is great for toddlers & younger children. The evening entertainment was a mini disco followed by a dance show, which we thoroughly enjoyed. You'll find the schedule on a wall opposite the spa. There are also neon / white parties each week (hands down the best ones were in 2022) SPA Highly recommend. We all visited twice and had the arrival / leaving packages. PROS: - Great for families in particular those with younger children - Wide choice of food available & cater well to intolerances - Fab location in between Marmaris and Icmeler - Stunning views - Wi fi coverage is now a lot better across the resort - Ice cream is served in coffee corner - better location and for a longer period of time - The pink caravan is a great addition serving bubble teas/ice coffee/pink lemonade CONS: - Ender from Guest relations was definitely missed! She was a great asset to the hotel, always on hand to help with a huge smile - Bar staff reserving sunbeds for particular guests
