Also, there is nothing healthy to drink in the restaurant; Only concentrated fruit juices. If you ask for water, there is no packaged water in the restaurant. There are strange problems in the bar area when it comes to drinks, for example, there is no ice in the hotel that calls itself all-inclusive :) It will happen, it will happen, but the ice machine is barely working, bro... I have stayed in many places and for the first time in my life, I saw the problem of not having ice. We came for summer vacation, not winter vacation. I've been to late breakfasts in dozens of hotels and I've never seen such disgrace. When we asked the friend, he said, "Brother, they told me to leave the cheese and collect the rest" :) The business seriously lacks work ethic and discipline; One of the working children even started a fight right next to us, making sarcastic statements about the person in charge... The hotel is on the second line, there is no beach, and the nearest beach has a disgusting sea and a lot of people, it is not possible to swim on it. Finding a free place on the beach is a problem. The sandy entrance to the sea and the proximity of boats make the water muddy with a lot of garbage. On the day of arrival, while swimming on the beach closest to the hotel, we saw human waste (poop) in the sea, and did not go there again. To swim in the clear sea you need to go left from the hotel towards Marmaris, walk 15 minutes behind the Marti Hotel and only behind it is a more or less decent beach and clean water - there are fewer people. Astoria does not have its own beach, so on any beach, sunbeds and umbrellas cost 300 liras per person per day. It is impossible to be on the beach without an umbrella; the sun is very active. When choosing Astoria, you need to understand all these nuances and plan an additional budget for umbrellas and sun loungers. That is, the proximity to the sea is not exactly 250 meters as stated in the description, but it’s all 800 meters in the heat. There are no beach towels either. In general, the hotel is very contradictory, on the one hand, cosmetic renovations in the rooms and new furniture, on the other hand, there is terrible dirt in the bar: no one removes dirty glasses from the tables, a dirty bar counter and not cleaned tables, a cat stench in the corner of the bar with sofas, Apparently it hasn't been washed even once since the beginning of the season. Is it really difficult for the staff to hose down the bar floors before opening and add cleanliness and freshness in the hot weather? Moreover, the bar is open from 11-23:00. The elevator is a separate issue - for 2 people, so if you are given a room on the 5th floor, you will often have to walk. The restaurant has friendly and very efficient staff, tablecloths on the tables, good service, indoor and outdoor air conditioning. But the food, which was praised in previous reviews, does not lend itself to any criticism: the first time we meet this, there is no basic scrambled eggs or omelet or pancakes for breakfast, this is nonsense, because the hotel is 4*! What could be simpler? However, the breakfast assortment: 3 types of cheese such as Suluguni and feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes, a boiled egg, fried sausages of dubious quality, jam, a bun, watermelon. No pancakes, omelettes, cottage cheese, ayran and other basic products. Very strange hungry breakfasts, to put it mildly. Drinks from machines - coffee and cappuccino are not good, cheap synthetics. In the evening there is a DJ in the restaurant, a repertoire of Turkish music, funny family dances. The rooms are newly renovated, clean bedding and towels, the plumbing seems to be new, but in the bathroom there is a terrible smell of sewerage and a public toilet, it’s really annoying when you come to breathe the sea air.. The air conditioning is working fine. Furniture on the balcony is ok. The pool is small - mostly children swim. Summary - if you were going for a seaside holiday, you would definitely choose another hotel, taking into account the above nuances.

I asked for help to make a birthday surprise for my wife. They had the hotel's pastry chef make the cake and planned a nice surprise without charging us any fee. The staff is very young and fun, but they have their shortcomings, but the hotel staff is trying to solve them in a constructive way. There are willing staff who enjoy working, but the main dishes at dinner are even more delicious. It would be better if it was diversified. It was a very nice holiday. The pool is clean. If you come with your camping chairs, you can use the public beach. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good and reliable.
