As the name suggests, ijen miner family homestay is a place where you can stay and also learn more about the back stories of being a miner and their families. It is a good experience, and the next day, adi was our guide up ijen. He was very conscientious, kind, encouraging us every step of the way, and we experienced the beauty and magnitude of ijen - the blue fire (spectacular!), the gas clouds (could live without), the views and really, I think I would not have enjoyed ijen that much if not for adi, so kudos to him. Regarding ijen miner family homestay, I like that it is sited within a village where I think everyone is a miner or related to that. Very authentic and the people are warm and friendly. The landscape of the place itself is gorgeous, and while the amenities are basic, I thought it was all pretty good and it is a place I would highly recommend. Had a comfortable sleep before the hike.

Notre hôte, Ali, a été très sympathique et disponible. Il est venu nous chercher au port de Ketapang. Nous étions super heureux d’arriver et de découvrir leur logement et leur jardin. Les lits étaient confortables et la chambre est grande. Le balcon qui donne sur le jardin est très agréable. Cela était tout à fait bien pour nos deux nuits. On a aussi mange sur place avec une super cuisine réalisée par sa famille. On a pu organiser notre montée à Ijen avec Ali & c’est son papa, ancien porteur de souffre, qui nous a fait faire le trip. Une super expérience ! Les prix qu’ils proposent pour les trios sont vraiment très honnêtes. Encore merci à Ali et sa famille pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil !

Homestay très familial, à la limite de la forêt où il est possible de faire de belles balades. La famille est adorable, les gens toujours aux petits soins et avec le sourire. Le fils, Ali, nous a préparé un trip parfait en venant nous chercher et nous raccompagner à la gare, organisé l’ascension du volcan Ijen le transfert jusqu.au volcan Bromo accompagné l’ascension et organisé les hébergements. Nous avions trouvé ses coordonnées sur trip advisor et vous pouvez le contacter par whatsapp
