Very nice quiet and tranquil island just off Nouméa. Beautiful snorkeling if weather is calm, tons of titles, harmless sea snakes and rays. Buffet is great, but you can’t have it every day. Not a place to spend a whole week, but 2-4 days is fine and very relaxing.

Great view of Darling Harbour. Given the high floor as requested. There is no parking on the hotel premises. Hotel provided discounted car park at Wilson Car Park, located opposite the hotel.

We stayed in both the overwater bungalow and the land bungalow to celebrate a birthday and enjoy our vacation. While we were satisfied with the accommodations themselves, we found the staff’s service and overall level of hospitality to be significantly lacking. For example, during check-in, no explanation was provided — we were simply handed the key. I later had to ask about the breakfast hours, Wi-Fi access, and other essential information myself. When we requested additional water, we were told it would be provided the next day, and the phone call was abruptly ended. When we came for dinner, staff members looked at us and walked past without offering any greeting or assistance. We had to approach and stop a staff member ourselves, and only then were we shown to our table. While we were swimming in the ocean, a staff member shouted loudly at us from a distance, signaling for us to return to the bungalow. We were later told it was because sharks could appear; however, the way it was handled — yelling loudly and speaking in an irritated tone toward guests — felt unprofessional and inappropriate. Most disappointing was the lack of acknowledgment on the birthday itself. It felt as though the attitude was, “It’s your birthday, so what?” We believe that a property carrying the Hilton brand name should employ staff with a high standard of hospitality skills and professionalism. Although the facilities were satisfactory, the service we received from the staff greatly diminished our overall experience. The staff members themselves seemed kind, but it appears that comprehensive training in hospitality and guest service is very much needed.

Overcharge me. two adults, but I have 3 children, and I already paid for one as an adult. Never respond to email.

Located in a very beautiful place and all staffs are super kind and helpful. The food choice was a bit limited but acceptable considering the location (island). Strongly recommend to stay there for a family vacation.

ABANDONED BY THE HOTEL. FRUSTRATION. Booking a 5-star Hilton hotel only to be completely abandoned. Terrible experience and service before, during, and after. The hotel is located on a private island, with access ONLY via its own transportation—a hotel-operated boat. When we made the reservation (November 2024), we provided our contact details and arrival schedule to receive instructions from the hotel. THEY NEVER RESPONDED. We followed up 10 times in the 30 hours prior to our arrival, requesting any kind of response. THEY NEVER RESPONDED. We reached out via email, phone, and the reservation management platform. THEY NEVER RESPONDED. We lost our flight from Sydney to New Caledonia and our accommodation, as we were supposed to arrive on an island with only one flight per week and had no confirmation of access to the hotel we had booked. Today, three months later (February 2025), we have repeatedly reported the hotel's lack of professionalism to Hilton, yet neither Hilton nor the hotel have apologized for abandoning us. This has been the worst and most incomprehensible experience I have ever had as a travel journalist, a profession that requires me to travel extensively throughout the year.

The scenery and the night sky were amazing! Next time I want to try some activities! It's mostly French, but there's a lot of Japanese, so it's easy to get around!

We stayed in a bungalow on stilts and it was pure bliss. The setting is simply magnificent: calm and soothing, perfect for recharging and completely forgetting the stress of the city. You feel at ease from the very first moment… a true haven of peace. We loved it from beginning to end, from the sunset to watching the turtles in their natural habitat…

A true paradise and the service has finally improved
