I was very disappointed to then hear that if we wanted to use the poo we would need pay another 15€ per person for a 2 hour slot. "The hotel is in a convenient location and easy to find. It’s spotlessly clean and the staff are very welcoming. There is a choice of 3 pools which cater for everyone. There are ample sun loungers and parasols - no matter what time of day. We never had a problem finding a parking space as the hotel car park is huge. The only minus is the breakfast - it’s very basic and the staff were slow to replenish the food."

Smart Hotel Autodromo ★★

"Just to be clear, this review is only related to my experience, namely staying at the Smart Hotel Autodromo (aka Hotel Rivazza) during the Imola F1 Grand Prix. For that purpose, the hotel was OUTSTANDING, primarily due to its AMAZING location. It's located right at the Rivazza turn (hence its original name Hotel Rivazza), so guests can watch the races from the hotel balcony or from the hotel garden, both of which offer fantastic views. More importantly, the location of the hotel meant that we parked our car in the hotel parking on Thursday evening and didn't touch it until Monday morning after the race. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we went everywhere on foot: to the racing events, to the various happenings at the track, and to the beautiful city of Imola for dinner (at one of the many excellent restaurants). The hotel itself is modest but very well organized, very clean, and with good Wi-Fi. It was quite expensive during this race weekend, but in my opinion it was well worth the money: it offered a unique and unforgettable experience. My only request: I wish the hotel had arranged a special viewing area in its garden that would have been exclusive to hotel guests. We paid A LOT of money for our room, and it would have been nice to have a chair to sit in in the hotel garden."
