Grape Residence Hotel

The price was quite affordable, and the room was generally clean. My only minor complaints are that I requested a room with good Wi-Fi, but the connection was unstable. The pot was too small, and the frying pan had a lot of scratches. Also, for a 4-night stay, only 3 rolls of toilet paper were provided, which was a bit disappointing.

The apartment is newly renovated, and the hot water was excellent, making for a comfortable shower. It had a fridge, microwave, and washing machine, which was convenient. However, there were no disposable slippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, or cups provided, so I had to buy them all at the CU downstairs. The most frustrating thing was that the sponge inside the single bed pillow had clumped together, making it very uncomfortable. The bedsheets also didn't look very clean. I paid over 17,000 JPY for my one-night stay, but the price dropped to just over 4,000 JPY the very next day. The price fluctuation is quite drastic. If you plan to stay, it's best to book your hotel early. A taxi to the airport cost 19,300 KRW, and a taxi from Unseo Station was over 11,400 KRW. Across the street is a waterfront park where you can see the sea, but there's no sandy beach.

While there wasn't much space to open my suitcase, it was quite good for the price. The air conditioning was cool, and I loved the open feel thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows in the duplex structure.

The inherent inconvenience of the 복창 (Bokchang, likely a specific room type or hotel name) is unavoidable, but the location itself, near the Guup ferry terminal, isn't bad. The park and ocean view is great, but the bathroom drainage is poor and needs to be fixed.

I was planning a whirlwind trip, not staying anywhere for two nights and just using the airport spa before an early morning flight home. However, the spa was incredibly crowded the day before, and I had a long wait, so I decided to book a hotel room last minute. Perhaps because it was a last-minute booking, I got a spacious room with a loft for only around 5,000 yen, which was great. It was a bit confusing finding the entrance as the building name was for a different hotel (Blue Ocean), but the detailed messages they sent me were really helpful. The lack of pajamas was inconvenient. The bed had a somewhat human-like scent, maybe from fabric softener, which was a little unpleasant. It didn't smell freshly washed... Overall, considering it was a last-minute decision and only about 20 minutes to the airport, I'm glad I stayed.
