Shine Hotel Incheon Airport

The room is about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, but the walk goes by pretty fast. Although the room is small, it has everything you need—pots, pans, and tableware are all included. You could say it's exceptionally well-equipped. There's also a small balcony where you can sit outside. It's ideal if you're going to a concert at Inspire or need to catch an early flight the next day. Getting to the airport from here via subway is very quick, only about 2 stops. This place also features self check-in.

The room is relatively new and has enough space, but the cleaning details are not great. It's not a proper hotel, more like a serviced apartment, so you can't expect too much. However, the biggest issue is that it's very noisy at night when trying to sleep. Also, there's no air conditioning outside of the summer season; although the outside temperature was under 20 degrees Celsius when I stayed, the room felt stuffy and warm enough to make me sweat, making it impossible to use the blanket. There is a balcony, but due to the nighttime noise, keeping the door open isn't a realistic option. Additionally, the hotel only provides plastic slippers instead of disposable ones, which isn't very hygienic.

During the National Day holiday, I traveled to several cities in South Korea. For my last night, I chose Incheon Airport Hotel Ocean View, mainly because I had an early flight back home the next morning. From the hotel, it only takes about 20 minutes to reach the terminal by taking the Airport AREX express line. The room was clean and tidy, and there's a convenience store downstairs. This hotel is highly recommended for those with early morning flights.

Look at the pictures yourselves, is this a sea view room? I don't know why the ratings are so high, maybe everyone booked a 300 yuan/night room. There's no front desk in the morning or at night, so I can't even comment on the service; there simply isn't any service. Is this even a hotel? It's more like a college dorm. There are no curtains, just blinds, making it impossible to sleep. I woke up past 5 AM. The road below is also very noisy at night, with people drag racing.

The hotel's location is a bit far from the subway station. It's not a standalone hotel; there are several apartment hotels within the same building. There's no front desk service, everything is self-service. However, the hygiene conditions are excellent, and the facilities are quite good too.

This is an apartment hotel, so there's no traditional front desk with staff; it's self-service. You can't hail a taxi right outside; you have to walk to the main road to find one. Food options nearby are limited. For someone staying only a few days, the kitchen and fridge are unnecessary, and the space would be larger without them. I didn't understand the self-check-in process when I arrived, so I called the hotel, and the staff were very helpful in guiding me.

The facilities are very complete, with a small kitchen, washing machine, microwave, refrigerator, and wardrobe. Although it's not a huge space, if I had to pick one downside, it would be that it's about 500 meters from the subway station. During the day, it's quite convenient and not too far, but if you have a lot of luggage, it might be better to stay closer to the subway station for more convenience.
