Candlewood Suites INDIANAPOLIS AIRPORT by IHG

$125 fees not disclosed before booking, have stayed at other locations without fee or highest $50 fee. No hot water, call with concern was told due to high occupancy was the issue. Unfortunately this was not the cast while I was 1 of 10 cars, with no more than 30 people staying. Suggest possible moving to different room, was told it would be the same issue. Road noise made the location hard to sleep. Gaps within the doors allowed every noise to heard, from other occupants and most of all the elevator. Many structural flund with the property.

It was a good stay

Front desk staff was superb. Wish I knew the gentleman’s name that has been there our last two stays. Always helpful!

Perfect place for my stay and only about 10 minutes from downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kitchenette helped with the travel budget. Would stay here again.

Areas of the hotel seem to be under construction but our room was nice. Clean and spacious. I did make a reservation for a 2 queen bed room and got a 1 queen and fold out couch. I was told the couch is equivalent but I find that hard to believe. My reservation was for 4 people and we didn’t have any bedding for the couch and only 2 shower towels. Those items were brought to the room quickly by front desk staff. We didn’t have much hot water. No coffee for the room. They were out. TV is living room was glitchy.

Rooms ac leaked on the floor and all the floor board trim was laying on the ground where it belonved but not on the wall

The room was just a little dirty, and it had very little toilet paper and no shampoo left.

This hotel is under renovation so there were some glitches. I've never stayed at one of these hotels before and tend to stay in more upscale hotels. That being said, the hotel staff could not have been nicer or more helpful or accommodating. They were quick to resolve the few issues our room had and made everything right. The common areas are still being renovated so there is much wear and tear. However, our room was clean, newly renovated and had all of the basic necessities for our stay. The staff is what makes this hotel... everyone we interacted with, from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance, were friendly, professional and very personable. They made our stay most enjoyable. Thank you for your hospitality!

Staff was very nice amd helpful Area is safe, and we didnt see any shady people, we came for the indy500 and its close to the airport, and about 1mile and a half from the school bus drop off area. ims has tickets that can be purchased for pickup and drop off,we had uber drop us off and pickup at this spot which makes it easier to get to and from the track. Only issue i have is hotel doesn't have ice machines, and when needing toilet paper, you have to go down to the lobby to get it. The hotel has a little room in front so coffee, drinks, water, chips and such can be purchased and is alot cheaper that getting stuff at the track. I paid about $800.00 for Fri,sat, sun checkout on Monday so still pretty expensive but its for a rce weekend
