Definitely enjoyed our stay here at the Royal Plaza Inn! The front desk attendant was so kind, cheery, and helpful! He helped make our stay a very pleasurable experience! The price was pretty great too and we enjoyed staying so close to Palm Springs!

JJoe MWe just got back from a two night stay at the Hampton Inn in Indio, California. It was an excellent stay. The property seems very new. Check in was a breeze. Check in time was 3 PM but we arrived early - about 12:30 PM . The front desk clerk checked and they had a room available – the room was actually a bit of an upgrade as it was on the top floor. The room was very large – the bathroom was well lit and had lots of counter space. TV was large and worked well. Bed was king sized and very stable – we loved it. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and was quite fast. The A/C and heat both worked perfectly - easy to adjust with a wall mounted thermostat. The room was clean and very quiet, Breakfast was typical Hampton – small omelettes, hash browns, sausages, porridge, cereals, toast and bagels, and a waffle maker. Coffee and juice. Lots of parking. Lots of shopping and restaurants within about 1/2 mile. Probably a bit too far to walk. The only complaint was that they only clean the rooms every other day. That’s fine for making the bed, but we needed replacement towels. When I phoned the front desk in the evening, they had fresh towels for us within about 5 minutes. So all in all a great stay.

AAmbeezyyHotel was nice. Staff was polite. The washer and dryer Situation was a little annoying. 1 Washer, 1 Dryer in a huge laundry room. They could definitely add 1 or 2 more in my opinion. Plus the ones they had didn’t work well. It took almost 3 hours and 6 dollars to dry my clothes

AAnthony MGreat affordable place to stay with the best service, their team makes the difference. beds are comfortable and they keep the place clean and presentable. They have a big pool with hot tub and grills on the patio. Check in is a breeze and always greeted with a smile, always making you feel extremely welcome and confutable. may not be the newest place to stay but the services they provide makes all the difference.

We went to Coachella super last minute and were able to get the last room at this hotel. It was so close to the venue. We really liked the hotel. Our room was perfect and they even had a big open closet (perfect for all the outfits you bring for the festival). Our bed was super comfortable and we had no complaints. I even had the pool and jacuzzi all to myself on the last day of our stay. There's a lot of food options very close by. They offered free breakfast but we slept in so we weren't able to try it but the pictures from other reviews looked good. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was fine, we checked in and the girl at the reception was nice. We got to our room and was clean and everything neat. We decided to use the pool and asked a lady in the laundry room if we can have towels to use at the pool. She handed us the towels, chairs by the pool were really hot so we put the towels over the chairs and sat down. One towel got a stain from the chair. At checkout, this other receptionist told us that in order to get our deposit back she needed to inspect the room, no problem, since we were aware that nothing was broken or missing. She come back ann told us that she will charged us $10 dollars for the stain on the towel, like, seriously??? It's not like the stain will stay on the towel after being washed with all that bleach and hot water that they used for all of their linens. After I told her that was ridiculous and the stain will go out after washing it, she went back to talk to someone and then go to the front and gave us the deposit back like if she was going to pay for the towel herself.

GGMGGThe upside was that the hotel is new and it was clean. The location was good. Large fridge, microwave and hot plate and cabinets but no dishes or pots and pans in the cabinets. The downside was the amenities. No blow dryer, no ironing board/iron, no extra blanket available. It was bare bones.

Omg no hot water to shower, cold cold water and a very Bad Experience at check-in desk i gave the lady my ID & I had my creit card in my hand ready for deposit, The lady said $100 CASH only deposit & i told her i have never paid CASH at any hotel for deposit & that I have stayed here before & never paid cash & she told me again $100 Cash only so I asked if she will give me reciept for the Cash she said yes so i took $100 & put cash in the counter & she wrote it with a pen so i ask her if she can sign her name please, wow she got all mad & started ranting she was just going to cancel my room & put no show & for me to leave & that i could’nt stay and i said no you can’t cancel over a signature if you writing with a pen I need a signature its not printed ink reciept so i ask to speak to the manager cause she kept ranting to leave she was canceling me & she said she was the manager so i said I want to speak to someone higher cause she can’t cancel me if im complying & its pre-paid. So after all her ranting she still gave me my room finally. My room bathroom toilet was plugged the water would no go down the drain without plounger so i was changed to another room but i will never come here again that is a rude lady or manager at check-In desk I would of argued with her or got mad & left but all I wanted was my room to relax & rest after a long day. 😡

After surveying hotels/motels in the valley the two biggest complaints are rude staff and dirty rooms at varying price points. I chose this motel specifically because other reviews mentioned how kind the staff is and it has clean rooms. And it’s all true. A/C worked great, 117 outside. Very Clean room, bathroom, floors & sheets. Smelled sterile. In-room Fridge-biggest I’ve seen in motel w/big freezer. Helpful for freezing my ice vests. Black out curtains-block sun light and heat significantly. Helps. Safety-no problems, no riff-raff, no dealers. Mostly folks here appear to be traveling through and are just stopping to sleep. Negative- the TV is so small and is placed in such a weird spot, so far away from the bed that you cannot see it…it’s against the furthest possible wall from the bed 20 ft away, hanging from the top of ceiling 9 ft up. So no TV for me this night. Bizarre. I wanted an inexpensive place to rest with basics and the motel is exactly as advertised. Except for that TV.
