"Shangri-La China World Summit Wing, Beijing – a high-rise stay with incredible value for money! I can't believe I'm only just discovering the China World Summit Wing, Beijing now! For various reasons, I needed accommodation in Beijing these past two days. After thoroughly considering the location, surrounding commercial hub, transport convenience, star rating, and reviews, I chose the China World Summit Wing, Beijing! Our wonderful journey began right from the hotel's ground floor lobby. First, a polite young bellboy enthusiastically helped open the car door. Then, the ground floor lobby staff courteously and warmly escorted us to the elevator bound for the 64th floor. The front desk on the 64th floor handled our check-in with equal politeness and warmth – everything was simply perfect! We stayed in an Executive Twin Room on the 71st floor. The room rate was over 1,700 RMB, which, for Beijing's CBD, is actually quite reasonable! Plus, there are many hidden perks! I won't even mention the clean and elegant guest room, the large platter of welcome fruit, or the complimentary daily T9 tea bags and coffee sachets. First and foremost, guests enjoy complimentary access to the Executive Lounge on the 64th floor every day. This includes a wide selection of capsule coffees, various sweet and savory pastries, a range of juices, free use of Apple computers, and complimentary meeting room bookings, among other things. Secondly, there's the daily ”Happy Hour” at the Cloud Bar on the 80th floor, offering unbeatable panoramic views, a variety of alcoholic beverages and juices, and a buffet worth approximately 300 RMB per person. Most importantly, the view from the guest room is absolutely phenomenal! The CCTV Headquarters, China Zun, and the Guomao business district are right before your eyes. You can see Chang'an Avenue, the Forbidden City, Workers' Stadium... and even the Yanshan and Taihang mountain ranges in the distance. That feeling of vast skies and endless clouds is simply breathtaking! Personally, I think the room view alone makes it worth the price. The dining experience is also superb. Breakfast is served on the 79th floor, also boasting fantastic views. Beyond the standard 5-star hotel offerings, the breakfast selection also includes authentic Old Beijing flavors! In summary, if you're traveling to Beijing, I highly recommend the China World Summit Wing, Beijing! The hotel is located in the tallest tower within the Guomao business district. It offers direct access via Metro Lines 1 and 10, along with multiple bus routes. Situated at Dabeiyao on East Chang'an Avenue, it's very close to Tiananmen, the Temple of Heaven, Qianmen, Olympic Forest Park, and Chaoyang Park."

"The connecting rooms didn't quite match the photos online and weren't what I'd consider a true family room. While the cleanliness seemed acceptable at first glance, the details were disappointing. I'll upload photos later, but finding moldy tissues *still in the dispenser* for guests to use was absolutely disgusting. We were in a rush to check out because my child wasn't feeling well, so we didn't report it at the time. My child has continued to be unwell since we returned, and I'm taking this time to provide feedback, hoping for improvements."

"It’s was really nice stay at XishannHot spring hotel, there a lot of things to do for families. It was me, my wife, our two kids of 7 years old. Beside the many swimming pools they have two indoor parks and many activities going on almost 24h! It was a really nice stay! Hotel was clean, the food was good, good organized and room well maintained! There are two things I think could be better, first is the food menu is 100% Chinese, so no western options, I think they could have some options to make easy for western kids and families. And second is the fact that all instructions and all staff speak only Chinese, so I think they should at least translate all instructions at hotel, swimming pool, indoor parks to English, these would make the stay even better!"

One of the highlights of our stay was the hot spring water—soothing and warm, which was exactly what we needed given the unexpected snowy weather. In the evening, they kindly offered us hot milk or soup to help us unwind, and in the morning, a delicious Western breakfast with fresh orange juice was delivered right to our door. It was such a thoughtful and special touch. An added bonus was the stunning view from the courtyard, where we could see the Great Wall! The homestay is within walking distance of a less crowded area of the Great Wall, where we paid just 35 RMB per person to experience it. It was beautiful and peaceful, offering the perfect opportunity to truly admire the historic site without the usual crowds. The location itself is perfect for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The air is fresh, and at night, the stars are visible, adding to the tranquility of the area. It’s incredibly quiet, making it the ideal place to relax and recharge. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Zhaohua Homestay, and I would definitely visit again. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with exceptional service, breathtaking views, and a beautiful setting, this place is an absolute gem."

"It was my first time to this B&B. The owner had prepared welcome fruits and a hot spring bath before we arrived, which was very thoughtful. The B&B is located near Miyun City, about a 15-minute drive from Miyun City. If it is more convenient to drive by yourself, the B&B also provides a Wagyu hot pot buffet at night. If you don’t want to go to the city, you can also solve dinner in the hotel. The environment of the B&B is simple and clean, the hot spring bath is clean and private, and the surrounding is very quiet. Unfortunately, the weather was bad during our two-day visit. It coincided with the Cowherd and Weaver Girl's reunion, and the intermittent drizzle prevented us from enjoying the beautiful view of the Great Wall from the infinity pool beneath the blue sky. Upon check-in, we were encouraged to add the hotel's concierge/butler on WeChat, allowing for direct inquiries with prompt responses whenever needed. The hotel is quite spacious with numerous rooms and features a beautiful courtyard design. Our second-floor room offered lovely mountain views and even a distant glimpse of the Great Wall lit up at night. The hot spring pool is very spacious, easily accommodating our family of three without feeling crowded, and was perfectly safe for our child to use a swim float."
