"Stay in Gaozhuang directly in Xishuangbanna! It is very convenient to go everywhere. The whole Banna is only 10 kilometers away. This is the central area. Next door is the Big Buddha Temple and the Starlight Night Market, which are only a 5-minute walk away. Although it is in the central area, it is very quiet and not noisy. The environment is also very good. There is a small garden on the second floor, which is very romantic and you can take photos and check in. "The B&B is located in the center of Gaozhuang West, Banna. You can see the Lancang River next to it. I originally booked one bedroom and one living room. The host was very nice. Seeing that there were more people, they upgraded to two bedrooms and one living room for free. The room was very clean and the stay was very comfortable. . Very close to Starlight Night Market. Just a few minutes walk. If you book a local group tour, it is also very close to the Gaozhuang North Gate bus pick-up point. Only when you live happily can you have a comfortable stay. "The hotel itself was very clean, had great rooms and the employees were very friendly and understanding. Ordering a ride to pick us up from the train station and bring us back to the train station went without any problems whatsoever. The rooms were cleaned every day discretely. This riverside hotel I discovered in Xishuangbanna totally elevated my vacation happiness. Once I checked in, I didn't want to leave – this is truly the best way to experience Banna! The room felt incredibly warm and inviting! Soft, warm lighting combined with traditional Dai-style wooden furnishings and tropical plants in every corner created an instant Southeast Asian vacation vibe. Opening the door instantly soothed me; it felt like a cozy little nest, completely devoid of that 'unfamiliar' feeling. The best part? It was unbelievably clean! My inner neat freak was ecstatic. No filters needed for photos here; every shot was an atmospheric masterpiece! The biggest surprise was the hotel's food! Every meal was different and so delicious I licked the plates clean. No need to bother looking for restaurants at all. Breakfast included authentic Dai-style rice noodles, freshly baked pastries, and fresh tropical fruits like mango and jackfruit, paired with freshly brewed coffee. Enjoying this in the riverside restaurant while admiring the view started my day off perfectly. Lunch and dinner were even more impressive – authentic Dai lemon chicken, lemongrass grilled fish, and pineapple rice, all made with fresh, generous portions. Every bite tasted like Banna! Even my friends who don't like spicy food raved about it. Definitely a godsend for lazy travelers! The location was also super convenient, not far from the Starlight Night Market and the Grand Pagoda, making sightseeing, eating, and playing incredibly easy. "This is a pool homestay in Banna with a mermaid. It has a Mediterranean design style. As soon as you step in, you feel like you have been teleported to the romantic Mediterranean coast... "This was my first time in Xishuangbanna, and I didn't have high expectations for a 500-yuan hotel near the scenic area. However, my stay far exceeded them. Upon check-in, the front desk immediately provided sunscreen, a children's toothbrush, and mosquito repellent, which was very thoughtful. The room type was very comfortable; it was quite spacious for a hotel within the scenic area. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and the bedding and decor were also excellent, making it perfect for families with children. What exceeded my expectations the most were the hotel's amenities. The infinity pool was stunning, and there were two kids' play areas, one on the 1st floor and one on the 7th. From the 7th-floor rooftop, you could see the Big Golden Pagoda Temple and a corner of the Starlight Night Market (Pic 2). There was also free KTV and complimentary Sprite and snacks for guests. The service was, of course, also fantastic. We had airport pick-up by business car, free fruit every afternoon, and the housekeeper would contact us to confirm before each room cleaning. This hotel will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Xishuangbanna. Finally, a suggestion: it would be even better if the hotel restaurant could offer baby meal takeout boxes or room service for baby meals. One morning, my baby didn't eat much in the restaurant, but they didn't provide meal boxes or food bags. I had to wrap a few sweet potatoes or corn in tissues to take back to the room to feed the baby, which was a bit inconvenient."
