"We love the apartment! It is tastefully decorated and the Daily housekeeping is excellent!! They even kept and return the power bank which we accidentally left behind. Delivery food is sent to our room by a robot, human staff are all approachable and helpful. Only gripe is the traffic outside the hotel is a bit chaotic and dangerous (maybe for foreigners like us)."

Hotel near The MIXC Shenzhen and KK100,Shenzhen
Nestled on floors 75 to 100 of the KingKey 100 landmark building in Luohu District, The St. Regis Shenzhen features 290 guest rooms, including 41 suites. With its bespoke butler services and timeless classic elegance, the hotel caters to luminaries from around the world. Located on the 96th floor, the hotel lobby offers a panoramic view of Shenzhen’s bustling urban skyline, stunning bay sunsets and the green hills of Hong Kong, allowing guests to stay closely connected with the city’s pulse while enjoying a peaceful retreat above the clouds. Three restaurants and one bar, set against the magnificent skyline, are dedicated to creating extraordinary sky-high dining experiences in the clouds.

"Our last stop was the St. Regis, the tallest hotel in the world, and also the tallest in Shenzhen. Facing Hong Kong, it gave off a nostalgic vibe. The toilet wasn't electric, but an old-fashioned one that felt cold when you sat on it, and the hairdryer was also an old model. The room lighting was a nightmare to control 😤. However, for TV *******, you could even binge-watch in the bathroom! It's a shame that the 100th floor is now exclusively for Super Marriott VIPs (I guess I'll have to earn millions before I'm eligible 😅). Just looking at photos of the top floor's architectural beauty makes me regret why I booked three nights here. I really miss the previous two hotels (where I only stayed two nights). Thankfully, the floor-to-ceiling window offered beautiful day and night views. I called for the robot to deliver water, and it was so cute and polite! It could even control the elevator. We kept pressing the close button, thinking the old elevator was broken, but it turned out the robot needed to come in and remotely control the elevator to enter and select its floor. I guess I'm behind the times 😅. The hotel was packed with guests, pretty much at full capacity, as it's in the city center. KKMALL is right downstairs, so they only provided milk, tea, coffee, and water, with welcome fruit on the first day. For our last stop, of course, we had to check out the hotel's restaurants. We had a light meal at the cafe. Although it was expensive, we could enjoy both sunrise and sunset views, along with the intricate architectural aesthetics. We also tried the Italian restaurant on the 99th floor. The set meal was quite generous, so much so that we needed a night walk to help digest it. For our last night, we opted for the buffet dinner. The oysters were huge, both cooked and raw, and there was also hotpot. It was my first time cooking my own lobster and large crab claws, and also my first time trying caviar yogurt – absolutely delicious! The creamy, non-alcoholic cocktail was also fantastic. Guangzhou's expensive hotels just don't have this level of quality. Highly recommend! 👍"

Hotel near Shenzhen Coastal City, Shenzhen Bay Control Point,Shenzhen
Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan is strategically located in the cultural center of Nanshan district, place in the landmark building with 300.8 meters height. Hotel offers 340 luxurious guest rooms and suites with captivating harbor and city views, provides 6 food and beverage outlets. Ten multi-function venues offering 2,000 sqm of cutting-edge meeting and banquet space. Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan promises to be a coveted destination for successful meetings, conferences, weddings and events.

"Ever since phase two of MixC opened, I've been wanting to visit, eat, and shop there, but I waited for the formaldehyde to dissipate first. I also wanted to take the kids for a weekend getaway. So, I chose the Marriott Shenzhen Nanshan. I've stayed at many Marriotts before, and while this one has been open for a while, its overall style is still quite appealing; it's not outdated. Getting from the parking lot to the room requires changing elevators three times, which is indeed quite complicated. The hotel lobby is on the 43rd floor. On a clear day, the high-altitude views and natural light are truly beautiful. Room Amenities: I booked an Executive Open Plan Suite. The room size was decent, and the layout was reasonable. However, some details in the room were lacking. For example, the showerhead was twisted by the pipe and couldn't be positioned correctly, causing the water temperature to fluctuate. Also, the toilet wasn't smart, which at this price point, it really should be. The minibar was tucked away in a cabinet, making it inconvenient to use. The mattress made strange noises, and the air conditioning system was poor, a bit sluggish and unresponsive. Breakfast: The hotel breakfast did offer a good variety, the setting was comfortable, and the food tasted good. There were also some changes daily, which was a nice touch. Location & Transportation: The location right by Coastal City is extremely convenient. You can walk directly to MixC Phase One and Two, Houhaihui, and Jia Le Dao. This was the main reason I chose this hotel. However, the price-to-value ratio is generally quite poor."

"I chose the Crowne Plaza out of several five-star options, but honestly, I was quite disappointed. Let me get straight to the point, as this review will be long. For guests, it all comes down to service, room facilities, and location. The service was average, the room facilities were average, and the location was only slightly above average. So, my recommendation is also just average, or even less – I wouldn't recommend it. First, the good points. Since it was my birthday, the hotel upgraded my room, offering a 270-degree view. You pay for all the good views in Shenzhen, and seeing the beautiful sunset definitely brightened my mood. There was also a simple decoration and a small birthday cake. The breakfast selection was quite rich with many choices. Next, the location. The closest shopping mall is MixC World, about two kilometers away. Then, the room amenities. The moment I walked in, I saw the bathtub. For someone like me who lacks a sense of security, it felt really awkward – bathing right by the door? There wasn't even a screen for privacy. Also, for a hotel costing over 1000 yuan, the toilet wasn't smart, and in this weather, it was really freezing cold. When I checked in, I specifically asked the front desk if they would deliver my takeout or if I needed to pick it up myself. The front desk replied that they could deliver it before 11 PM, but after 11 PM, I'd have to go down to the concierge on the 3rd floor to get it. That night, around 9:30 PM, the delivery rider said the food had arrived. We even told the rider that someone or a robot would bring the food up. We waited until 10 PM, thinking they might be too busy, so we decided to go down and get it ourselves. The concierge then told us that guests need to pick up their own takeout. Firstly, the whole point of ordering takeout is because I'm lazy. Secondly, I ordered it within the timeframe the front desk said they could deliver. When I asked the front desk again, they said we needed to inform them so they could ask the concierge to deliver it. Why wouldn't they just have the concierge deliver it directly? Why make the customer go through the extra step of telling the front desk to have my takeout sent to the room? Didn't I order takeout to minimize walking and eat promptly? I even put my room number in the delivery notes. It's truly baffling that a five-star hotel in 2026 doesn't have takeout robots. I'm very grateful for the complimentary cake, which tasted great, and they also asked us for a preferred delivery time. However, after telling them the time, it still wasn't delivered an hour later. We truly didn't take a shower and just waited anxiously, afraid of missing the cake delivery. Of course, the staff apologized profusely in the end. From every aspect, this hotel has a very, very, very large room for improvement."

"This is the first time I've stayed at a Ctrip 5-diamond hotel with such poor facilities. I found the building using the online address, but there was no staff in the ground floor lobby. In fact, there wasn't even a lobby on the ground floor; the lobby was on the 13th floor. I fumbled around on the ground floor for a bit, then found an elevator up to the 13th floor. The 'lobby' there was just two check-in counters, with no lounge area whatsoever, completely unlike a 5-diamond hotel. The room itself was quite spacious, meeting 5-diamond standards, and I was getting ready for dinner. However, a 5-diamond hotel, surprisingly, didn't have a restaurant serving dinner! I had to rely on Gaode Maps and Dianping to search, then fumbled through a confusing elevator change in the dark to finally find a restaurant in the same office building. Honestly, what's the difference between staying at this 5-diamond hotel and a 3-diamond budget hotel? Of course, the hotel's location has one big advantage: it's within walking distance to the Sports Center for concerts."

InterContinental Shenzhen WECC is located in the Western Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, adjacent to the center’s exhibition hall. Designed to complement the world-class exhibition complex. The hotel's exterior is inspired by elements conveying sail shadows, water patterns and the tides of the Pearl River. Its silhouette forms a white sail set upon the sea, symbolizing the beginning of a new voyage. There is a majestic "Spray" sculpture that greets guests at the hotel's main entrance, guiding them to the lobby. A vision of an "urban oasis" extends through the hotel's full interior. What is more, the dynamism of the outdoor space, its use of natural light and play on shadows blend to create a quiet, relaxing peach garden. The hotel has 359 luxurious, intelligent rooms and suites, ranging in size from 50 to 280 square meters. Each room features panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer multi-dimensional views, including a panoramic view of the cityscape or Fuhai River. Each room is equipped with a practical workspace area, a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom. The space is both transparently open and magnificently private. All rooms employ a design language that celebrates the remarkable transformation and vitality of Shenzhen. From the abstract geometric art on the bedside backdrop wall that expresses an "urban beat" to the "city silhouette" drawn by lines in the carpet pattern, the details are full of ingenuity and opulence.

"Traveling with three friends this time, our stay at this hotel was absolutely divine! The room was spacious and airy, perfectly comfortable for four people without feeling cramped. What truly amazed us was the stand-alone bathtub. After a day of exploring, a hot bath with the complimentary aromatherapy bath bomb completely melted away our fatigue. The tub was spotless, showing incredible attention to detail. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful sleep every night. The hotel's facilities were also outstanding. The heated swimming pool had crystal-clear water and a comfortable temperature – perfect for a fun swim with friends. The gym was well-equipped with brand-new machines, catering to both cardio and strength training. A hot shower after a workout was the icing on the cake. The dining experience far exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, from Chinese congee, noodles, and dim sum to Western bread and coffee, plus fresh squeezed juices – all made with fresh, delicious ingredients. For dinner, we ordered specialty dishes at the Chinese restaurant. They were beautifully presented, generously portioned, and authentically flavorful. What truly deserves special praise are the staff members. From check-in to any daily requests, they were consistently warm and attentive. They proactively helped with luggage and recommended local eateries, making us feel genuinely cared for. Overall, this hotel is impeccable, from its amenities to its service. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip!"
