Ingleton Hostel

Super friendly, clean, warm and welcoming. Showers hot and clean. Bedroom spotless. Stayed for 1 night. Ate out locally for tea, and bought a porridge pot for breakfast so didn't use the catering there. Would definitely go again. Everything is right on your doorstep!

Excellent Location. Lovely rooms plenty of showers and toilets. TV lounge and general lounge very cosy with lovely views. Right next to Ingleton Waterfalls trail which is a must. Would definitely come back. Also ideal to climb whernside.

Great location for the local amenities and the waterfall trail! Very helpful host who spent time giving us useful information. Very clean and comfortable beds. Communal areas also clean and practical. Great breakfast & packed lunches. Car park has limited spaces but we squeezed in. Good, secure bike storage facility with secure posts and door.

Brilliant stay at the Ingleton YHA. We were there midweek and basically had the place to ourselves until Friday. Good clean facilities and lovely dining table in the kitchen. TV room and lounge are also separate. My only gripe is that the family room was on top of the drying room, and we could only open the window a couple of inches . Consequently, it was like a sauna in there, most uncomfortable! May be good in the winter though!! And quite cozy. Apart from that, brilliant stay. Staff are great.

The Ingleton YHA is in a lovely spot in the village, very close to the pubs and shops but tucked away so there is no noise from passing traffic/pedestrians. The rooms and communal areas are spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast or packed lunch options but they are available for an extra cost. The staff are lovely and clearly know the local area very well, which was useful when planning activities. They also let me store some luggage for a few hours after I checked out which was incredibly helpful as I was going on a hike! I'd definitely stay again if I return to this part of the Dales.

Warm welcome with lots of helpful advice for the area. Comfortable nights stay local to everything you need after a long walk Pubs and chip shops. Some local walks straight from the door step. Would visit again

Brilliant stay . Staff amazing , especially the Welsh fella. Very friendly and informative . His passion for his job shines through. Rooms very basic for 160 a night but for 5 sharing wasn't too bad. Very comfortable beds , breakfast good and drinks. Would definately return

Took a GCSE Geology group of 16 students. Fantastic food was provided and the accommodation was excellent. The dining room doubled us a classroom for us to use for our evening lesson and I will definitely be using this Youth Hostel again for future trips.

The hostel is in the picturesque village of Ingleton, the car park is awkward to get into, but is aimed at walkers. Facilities are good, the cooked breakfast is good. The dorm was basic, but usable and the bunk bed quite comfortable, some other guests must have been restless as there was a lot of movement during the night, with doors opening and closing. All in All, a good experience.
