Motel 6 Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles - LAX

Excellent location with great value for money. The view outside is fantastic, and having a fridge in the room is a huge plus. Downstairs is very convenient with a Starbucks and McDonald's. Parking costs $20 per night, which is a bit of a downside. What really bothered me, though, was the lack of toiletries – no shower gel, shampoo, slippers, toothbrush, or toothpaste. The front desk service was also very poor, and the hotel itself felt old and run-down. On the bright side, there's a microwave in the lobby on the first floor.

This hotel is about a 10-minute drive from Los Angeles International Airport. Its proximity to the airport makes it a suitable option for staying after arrival or before departure. However, the amenities are very basic, with no refrigerator, hairdryer, shampoo, or body wash provided. The front desk service was also not very good. I booked an Uber to the hotel at 8 AM, which cost around $30, or about 4,500 yen, which felt quite expensive. It might be worth considering hotels like Hilton, which offer free shuttle bus services.

I arrived at the hotel before noon and was able to store my luggage for free, then checked in directly in the evening. The lobby has a restroom, and you just need to get the key from the front desk. There are also some shops nearby for convenience.

It has the absolute basics covered. The lobby has vending machines selling snacks and drinks, which is very convenient. There were also laundry facilities. Plenty of towels were provided. It's cheap, so I'll probably use it again.

Everything was great, except for the high prices.

My stay at Motel 6 LAX, Los Angeles, far exceeded my expectations. I give it five stars across the board for cleanliness, environment, service, and facilities! The motel, newly opened in 2023, boasts brand new and spotless facilities. Its location is superb, just a 1.7 km walk from Los Angeles International Airport, making it incredibly convenient for connecting flights, early morning departures, or late-night arrivals. The room was clean and bright, with a spacious and comfortable king-size bed (1.81m). The room size was just right, and the non-smoking floor provided a peaceful environment. The motel offers excellent amenities, including stable and free in-room Wi-Fi, a laundry room, an outdoor pool, and is pet-friendly, which is great for travelers with pets. The front desk staff were efficient, handling check-in and check-out quickly. The overall environment felt quiet and safe, and there was ample parking, so it's perfectly fine if you're driving. At around 400 RMB, it offers exceptional value for money near the airport. With new facilities and a prime location, it's my top choice for affordable accommodation near LAX. I will definitely choose to stay here again whenever I travel to and from Los Angeles Airport.
