I arrived late evening hoping to enjoy a comfortable stay. Instead I ended up with a stay, bugs, and the odor of pets coming from the vents. We won't even get into the flat pillows, loud housekeepers, especially in the morning and lack of customer service. Sugar 🐜 on the 3rd floor. I had a two night stay at Tru by HILTON. My day started early the next morning, so I missed the day management team, however I spoke with the evening staff. She explained the hotel was booked, but would leave a message with management. Spoke with management early morning next day. I must say, it was not a pleasant conversation. I am from New Orleans, so being aggressive in a business dealing with hospitality is not the norm. As I began explaining, I was immediately shut off with a question, "What floor and that is not possible." The receptionist who noted my complaint the night before admitted guest sneak their pets in. The manager went on to say, " Ma'am you only paid $100 a night, what do you want?!" I want my room compensated, while she is announcing all my business. Look bottom line, although they are right next to 2 restaurants, my money can go to someone who will treat me like a person and a paying customer. And give me a good pillows. If I paid with points or $5, I paid! Rooms are normally $187 a night.
