Hotel Lötschberg

The environment is truly wonderful, nestled by mountains and water, with blue skies and white clouds. It's a great place to live.

The hotel room was clean, and its location is great – just a few minutes' walk from the bus terminal. There's a supermarket nearby. It even has air conditioning, which is rare for Switzerland in the summer, so I slept really well.

This hotel is a family-run apartment (a villa), and we were assigned a spacious room on the third floor. It's very close to Interlaken West (train station), only a 6-minute walk away. The area is quiet, and the room has air conditioning and an elevator. It was also clean. The only downside is that other hotels usually provide two bottles of water daily, but this one didn't. (Of course, there were no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers, which is common in European hotels).

The hotel is super easy to find, just a 3-5 minute walk from Interlaken West Station. From West Station, you can buy tickets to anywhere, and it's also very close to the boat pier, making the location really convenient. They offer free luggage storage too. The building itself is a bit old, so the facilities aren't super modern, but the bedding was dry and pretty clean. Room 4 gets sun from two sides and is great for ventilation when you open the windows, so it was quite comfortable. Breakfast is simple but they have boiled eggs, which are a must for refueling. There are fresh food supermarkets nearby for plenty of supplies. Oh, and the ice cream shop in town is delicious, highly recommend it!

Hotels in Interlaken were all so expensive, so I booked this one which was relatively affordable. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable! It's also close to the station, and the breakfast was delicious. I have no complaints.

1. The hotel's furniture and facilities are extremely poor; even cheap IKEA furniture has better quality. 2. The hotel's soundproofing is a major issue. When people walk upstairs, the entire floor and ceiling creak. 3. The bathroom has no exhaust fan. 4. The hotel breakfast is incredibly monotonous, always just a few croissants and bacon. 5. Compared to other hotels in Interlaken, this one offers very poor value for money. It's the worst hotel I've stayed in during this trip to Europe. 6. When I needed my visa, I discovered that one guest's name was incorrect. I repeatedly messaged the hotel asking them to correct it, but they kept refusing. I had no choice but to cancel and rebook, which cost me over 1000 RMB more. 7. I hung the 'please clean' sign around 8 AM, but when I returned at 2 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. 8. I stayed for three nights, and the cleaning service was very subpar. There was only one tissue left, and it was never refilled.

It was spacious and nice. The automatic doors were impressive. Make sure to read the front desk instructions carefully; they'll tell you where to go.
