There are two highways: one from north east to south east; another one from east to west. There is only ONE rental Car Company at the airport, but some others are near Kaunakakai. It's recommended to make your rental car reservation as soon as possible to avoid being stranded without a car. You may watch them right from your lanai as they are moving, jumping out of the water, males singing to attract females, slapping the water's surface with their fins, tails, or heads.
