"I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel.
I accidentally booked a same-night reservation because I was comparing room types in a new tab and forgot to change the dates. I realised the mistake immediately, submitted a cancellation request, and even called the hotel that evening to let them know I wouldn’t be arriving so they could release the room to other guests.
Despite this, I was charged the next day. When I called again, the manager said their policy requires 24 hours’ notice and claimed they “could not use the room for other reservations,” even though I had informed them the night before.
I have stayed in many hotels, and this is honestly one of the least flexible experiences I have come across. Very disappointing customer service and not understanding at all."

While the rooms are a bit older, the facilities are still in good condition, and it was a comfortable stay."

"The place is absolutely stunning and great location if not the best. Walking distance to pacific fair, restaurants at Broadbeach, plus the ****** is just downstairs. The lift during the peak hour did present a bit of challenge which shall be dealt with by the management company and for some reason there is on and off buzzing sound in the hallway."

"Location and facilities were great. Heated pool and great cafe 2min walk.
The apartment itself was rundown, but equipped with the basics. One of the rooms was locked to us, but had access to the balcony. There was a horrific smell in the kitchen (wall?) we had to get room spray to help mask it. The microwave and cupboards were unusable.
We would return to Ultra, however, would request a different apartment."

"The actual place once we got settled was pretty good. The only issue that we really had was that the kitchenette was not clean enough. There were little tiny bug/ants that came out onto the counters every morning, or whenever we’d leave the counter unattended for a while. The utensils in the kitchen weren’t cleaned properly and we had to use boiling water to clean everything before using them.
When we arrived we had to wait for the room to be finished, which we didn’t mind at all it was only a 10 min wait, but they had sprayed this air refresher so much that when we went inside we couldn’t get the smell out for an hour or two even w the balcony door open and the fans running.
Other than that the bed, air conditioning, TV and rest of the amenities were good. The location was just perfect and super close to the beach. And the staff were very friendly."

GGuest UserOur experience was good. The apartments are well organised and no lengthy check-in process like other places. A bit surprised after paying the amount due weeks before and then being requested for another $500 prior to checking in otherwise the booking can't be guaranteed. Most people take American Express in the accommodation industry and this was also a surprise. Apart from that it was a very pleasant state and we will book it again if we get a good deal.

KknknAlthough it is a bit far from Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach Mart and cafes and food and beverage stores are convenient. There's a yogurt ice cream place on the first floor, which isn't bad, and there's a Starbucks.
There is a playground about 200 meters away that is great for children.
Since there were no curtains, I had to wake up at 6 o'clock... There is a construction site right next to it, so it is noisy. It's noisy at night because there are clubs nearby. It wasn't bad for a few days.
The swimming pool was also great for kids to play in.

Vvive_la_freedomThis time I stayed in a double room type. Generally speaking, it is a clean hotel. It is also located on the beach. It only takes three to five minutes to walk to the beach (as in the picture, it is the beach next to the hotel). It is quite convenient. The only regret is that the counter service hours are very short, from 9 to 16 on weekdays, and only from 9 to 12 on holidays. If you need help opening the door outside the service hours, you need to pay 50 Australian dollars. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but it seems that the usage rate is not high. I hardly saw anyone using it for three days after staying there. Maybe they all went to the beach!

It's in a Great Location with a great view; however, the noise of the large bins being collected in the street each morning at 6:30 a.m did spoil our sleep-ins.
The most disappointing factor was the smell of the bathroom towels. I suggest a note to the company about laundering the towels.

MMaslenIt’s always a fantastic place to come. The staff are friendly, the residents are friendly and the views and rooms are very nice and homely. The indoor pool is also a bonus. I’ve been here before and I’m never disappointed to come back. It’s definitely my go to place to stay.

GGuest Userbooked studio apartment but was only second bedroom from another apartment with enquire which was a little deceptive and not able to do anything about it as already had paid for it through the app. Bathroom sink tap wasn't attached to sink but still usuable....location is good right next to restaurants etc...
