"Staying at Fengning Hotel is a wise decision. It was very hot in Beijing during the Dragon Boat Festival. Fengning Hotel did not need to turn on the air conditioner at night. When the children woke up in the morning, they praised them for having a comfortable sleep. When I decided to go to Qiansongba, there were only a few days left before the Dragon Boat Festival. The prices of rooms in Datan Town had increased, so I booked the best hotel in the county without any price increase, haha. The front desk heard that I inquired about whether the two beds in the standard room could be put together, and immediately coordinated with the waiter to help put the beds together. The solid wood bed and bedside tables are as sincere as the waiters' enthusiasm. The biggest fear when going out is not sleeping well. The room here is clean, the bed and pillows are of high standard, and the curtains are fully blackout. It's great to sleep. The toilet fixtures are as bright as new, and a disposable separator pad is even provided. Like silently. I was given yogurt in the afternoon. I was given fruit as a gift when I checked out. I usually don’t comment on hotels when I stay in them, but this time I made an exception. It’s a pity that I didn’t take any photos, so I’ll send you some photos of Qiansongba. "1. Public areas are poorly clean, and the lobby windows are stained. 2. Management is disorganized. Drunk guests knocked on our doors in the middle of the night, and at 8 a.m., they knocked on our doors asking if we needed our rooms cleaned. We had to swipe our card at the front desk every time we left the parking lot. 3. Even after staying there, we still smelled the lingering smell of renovations. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and we could clearly hear the chatter of late-coming guests and the noise of early-rising children. The soundproofing on the doors was completely useless, practically useless. 4. Smoking regulations were lacking, and the hallways were perpetually filled with the stench of cigarette smoke."

"I stayed in this place for two nights off season (at the beginning of April 2023) for a hiking weekend. The price was very fair (159 RMB per night) for a room with two beds and private bathroom, without meals. The restaurant was not open yet but the lady of the house offered to buy me breakfast and did drive me to a nearby restaurant for dinner (supermarket and restaurants are around the corner, 5-10min walking). The room was spacious and superclean with modern facilities and a reliable internet connection. The floor heating is helpful during still colder days and nights. The surrounding hilly landscape and rural countryside with endless meadows, fields, tiny villages, farmers, and an abundance of sheep, cattle, horses, donkeys, pigs, birds, and other farm animals is beautiful for hiking and horse riding, also outside the main season."

"The hotel is located on the roadside and is easy to find using navigation. We arrived at the hotel around 10 pm and found many cars when we drove to the hotel entrance. The waiter directed us to the hotel parking lot (the parking lot is in the backyard on the first floor of the hotel, next to the elevator entrance). When I checked in, the front desk told me that the room opposite my room was rented by a bride as her wedding room, and that the bride's wedding party would come to pick her up around 6am the next day, and that there might be noise. I wanted to change rooms because we had been on a plane for several hours and drove for several hours, and I really wanted to have a good sleep, but there were no rooms available, so I had to give up. Fortunately, the bride's wedding party didn't make noise for long the next day. To be honest, it was quite a surprise to see a hotel with a fresh, simple and fashionable decoration style in Fengning County. The hotel's air conditioning can be turned on for heating, so it won't be cold at night. It is also convenient to have breakfast around. The reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because the room is a bit small and can't fit two suitcases. If it's one person, it's totally fine. Overall, I am quite satisfied."
