"We booked a 38-square-meter family room, but stayed in a 10-square-meter room. The inn didn't have an elevator, and climbing up was a bit of a struggle for us, a 70-year-old. The bathroom didn't have a toilet, just a squat toilet, and getting up after squatting was a struggle. Showering was done with the toilet lid on top, which was tiny. The shower head couldn't be adjusted, so we had to hold it up with our hands to wash. We had originally planned to stay and not move, but had no choice but to find another hotel. This one listed online as 25 square meters, but it was more than double the 38-square-meter size! I wish all businesses would operate with integrity."

"This time, my friend set a parent-child room. 4 people lived in a very comfortable room. The beds were quite big. There were prepared hot tea, fruit, tea set, drying racks, charging cables, etc. in the room, which was very convenient. The staff of the whole hotel are very good, and the contact is more Manager Yuan. Thank you Manager Yuan! Manager Yuan is very good, responsive, answering all questions! Thanks also to the master Jiang who picked us up to the train station, very enthusiastic! I had a lunch and buffet breakfast at the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very rich, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was great! We travel during the day, and we go to the gym to play table tennis, run at night, and have a blind box for supper to eat, praise! It is also very convenient to take a taxi to the surrounding scenic spots and counties, very satisfied! Next time I want to bring my parents to travel, I also live here!"

"The homestay is part of the ancient city, the environment and service are good, the anti-lock hole of the room is a bit inaccurate, it takes some effort to lift it up😅 Friends who drive by themselves, please note... there is no parking space, leave as soon as possible after unloading the luggage, otherwise the security guards of the community next door will force you to leave😂 The car needs to be parked in the school basement parking lot, which is an 8-minute walk away🅿️ Personally, I give it an overall score... 7.5 points"

"Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained."

The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of dishes, and the freshly ground coffee in the lobby bar was also excellent. At only 9.9 yuan, it was an absolute steal! [Thumbs up][Thumbs up][Thumbs up]"

"What a fantastic experience! The staff were all very nice. The place was very clean and the facilities were complete. The guesthouse even offered free pick-up and drop-off service from the train station! So thoughtful! It's not far from the center of the old town, and the alleyways leading to Shangshu Mansion offer unique scenery. We also met a really kind driver along the way who offered to pick us up with a simple phone call. Aside from the bad weather, everything was great on this trip."

MMeiyoulianThe room is exactly like the picture, what you see is what you get, the whole room is filled with spring water, and it is only about 200 meters away from the opposite side of Dajin Lake. The boss is very enthusiastic and provides breakfast in the morning. If you want to eat here at noon or evening, it is highly recommended. It is delicious and affordable, and the price is reasonable.

It only takes a few minutes to get to the ancient city, and it is convenient to drive in the parking lot. The supplies and appliances in the room are all new, and the snacks are all branded. It is clean and hygienic, and the service is very considerate and attentive. Due to personal reasons, the front desk helped arrange a room with a small courtyard on the first floor, and recommended all the famous restaurants nearby😘😘

TTom FuzerNice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu

YYizhikukudexiaojiejieI chose this hotel after reading the reviews. It has a good location and is very close to the pier. It is very pleasant to take a walk by Dajin Lake in the evening, watch the sunset and enjoy the breeze. The B&B is very hygienic and spotlessly clean. I feel reassured. We later upgraded to a suite with tatami mats, and our children were particularly satisfied. The boss is enthusiastic and down-to-earth. He thinks about what we want. It feels very warm when we go out with the whole family. I asked the boss to arrange a dinner. I had one organic fish, two fish, and tofu. It tasted very good and the price was reasonable. I will stay here again when I have the chance next time👍🏻
