New room but a few issues. Doesn't appear to be any control for cooling. Kept the window open to adjust for the heat but wind was blowing all night. Somehow it closed the bathroom door and it became locked so was unable to open from the outside. Strange. I mentioned to the front desk that their seemed to be a problem with their bathroom door and that I was unable to access my bathroom all morning. I told them that it has made a small problem for me but either that was lost in translation or they just didn't care about the inconvenience it had caused.

"The hotel has an excellent location. There is a big supermarket downstairs, many restaurants next to it, a school across the road, and a large parking lot behind it. The room is large and spacious, the air conditioning is powerful, the bed sheets and quilt covers are very clean, and the front desk service is good. The business district of Yongchang County is not big. It takes about an hour to walk around the hotel to feel the local culture and food. I recommend the ma tofu dumplings, a specialty of the Northwest that you can't get anywhere else. It's 15 yuan for half a catty, which is economical and affordable."
