The inn was transformed from a century-old old house that integrates the styles of nature and originality, local customs and gentry, ethnic culture and the Republic of China era. The culture of the gentry of the Republic of China and the simple and wild Xiangxi culture are very rich. It recreates the Xiangxi world described by Shen Congwen, being rough yet exquisite, aged yet refined, profound yet leisurely.

The one night stay here was as I'd hoped. The pick up at the station incuded staff guiding through the scenic area to the hotel. On arrival, I was told breakfast was an upgrade. The room was comfortable and overlooking a small waterfall by a bridge. I was worried as I returned around 10pm with loud music very near the hotel, but the room must have good insulation as I couldn't hear it in the room. A driver to return to the station was arranged next morning for 20 yuan.

My say was great, Mr Fu arranged a pickup and drop off service from the High Speed Railway station. They offered hot milk and a snack at night, they also offered Tea in the afternoon, they have jacuzzis which was refreshing after a walk at the water fall. The hotel offered drop off and pick up service to the Furong Waterfall, even assisted with transportation to she supermarket. It was a great experience over all the hotel staff ability to go above and beyond to assist. It was quiet and peaceful

The woman at the front was very pretty, she also served us very delicious homemade tea 🍵 as to which she gave us as a gift since I was handsome. Breakfast is freshly made by an auntie, she is sweet and the food is really tasty. Really worth waking up early to eat this really really really 😋 . They also provide a driver to pick up and drop off. He is very bald 👨🦲 and nice. His car has no smoke smell which is very uncommon in china, and he is so kind, good to chat with and slows down the car for us to take pictures of the scenery. Just before we left he picked us up from a cool area recommended by the pretty lady, and he brought us very cold water, it was absolutely burning outside 🥵. He basically saved my life right there, so I owe him my gratitude. The rooms look so freaking cool since it’s all wooden, the room is very spacious and clean as to where my girlfriend could lick the floor. Toilet is very modern but still keeps the wooden old Chinese aesthetic. And the courtyard is very pretty, just look at the pictures 🤩. Overall 10/10 I recommend going to furong just so you can stay here.

Great stay, perfect location, and a very kind host
The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the entrance to the scenic spot, which is super convenient. You can get there either from the main road by going up a small staircase or from the lower, more touristy street.
The room is great: very comfortable and quiet — I slept really well. During the time I stayed, the nights were nice and cool for sleeping, and the daytime temperature was just perfect.
The owner was also extremely kind and even drove me to the train station himself. It only took us 12 minutes, and I really appreciated that.

Hassle free experience checking into this bed and breakfast accommodation. The staff will contact you a day before to offer discounted entrance tickets (90 yuan) and transportation by a private driver (20 yuan). We opted for both of these services and it was the best decision we’ve made. The driver will drop you off at the closest entrance to the town, where the staff will meet you in a tricycle to transport your suitcases to the accommodation. The pathway is dirt so it would have been a nightmare pulling our suitcases through this. The rooms are large but average. We can see half of the waterfall from our balcony. For breakfast it is simple soup noodle. They ran out of rice sticky dumplings by the time we got there and the staff did not refill it. The only standout was the outdoor dining area, you’ll get a full view of the town which was amazing without having to be surrounded by a large crowd. I did notice that some tourists managed to walk in and take some photos when the front desk was not staffed… which felt unfair as this was the most expensive accommodation we’ve paid whilst in china.

The hotel is very old but clean, it has a really nice view of waterfall (especially at night). The service is ok, the only nice thing is that they will pick up and drop us at the train station for free. Moreover, you also need to pay extra RMB 100/person as the hotel is inside the scenic area.

Lovely new hotel that opened in 2023. Managed by Lily and her husband. Lily was super helpful with how to navigate the place, what to see, where to eat. However, if you don’t speak Chinese, it may be a little difficult. But nothing a translator app can’t help you with. Also, they provided a free transfer to the railway station when we departed. On arrival at the railway station, we just took a cab to the ancient town for CNY20. The very helpful taxi driver kindly called the hotel for us and someone from the hotel came to pick us up at the entry gate to the ancient town where the taxi driver dropped us. The hotel is still new, clean and in a great location with a fantastic river view and view of the Tuwang Bridge. I would stay there again. And Lily is hospitable, patient and kind.

This Inn is perfectly located and has an amazing view. You will have to buy an entrance ticket for 109RMB, this ticket covers 3 days. Enter and exit of the city, access to walking underneath the waterfalls and watch the performances as many times as you want. I stayed 3 days. The host is patient and kind. He met me at the gate and helped carry my luggage. The room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. Wifi works. All amenities provided and daily housekeeping. I will stay here again.

Owner pick us upon arrival and help us with the luggage. Also offered us additional mineral water.
Great view from the room even though it is not the main waterfall. Noise from the street at night until 11pm can be heard from the room but it is not a big concern.
The location of the stay is easily accessible to nearby waterfall.
Only recommendation is the toilet steps in the room, which can be slippery.
Overall highly recommended!

Really lovely hotel room with a beautiful view of the river and bridge nearby. The staff were so accommodating. We were picked up from the train station and met by a lovely staff member who brought us to the location to pay for the scenic area ticket and then brought us to the hotel. A very seamless and stress free experience. She gave us some recommendations for the town over WeChat which was very helpful and arranged a transfer back to the train station.

MMonika - SlovenskoFantastic stay at Furong Town Momuqiu Light Luxury High-end View B&B. Very nice owner. We are foreigners who don't speak Chinese, but she added us on WeChat and we communicated through a translator. She came to pick us up at the high-speed train station and dropped us off again after our stay. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was amazing. Big, comfortable bed, nice pillows and duvet. Also a smart toilet and a large shower with hot water. I appreciate the quality cosmetics such as shower gel, shampoo and perfect conditioner. Air conditioning and wifi worked without problems. There were 2 chairs and a table on the balcony and a great view of the ancient city and bridges. We had delicious noodle soup for breakfast. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but we didn't use it. However, it's definitely a good place to cool off on hot days. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

NNicholas LooI had very good experience to stay in this hotel. 2 days before arrival to Furong town, our butler was called us for confirmation of high-speed rail station pick-up service with complimentary using 7 seaters Mercedes. The hotel come with amazing contemporary design and feel very warm. We are 2 adults and 2 kids were comfortable stay in the one double bed room. Since our room come with 2 breakfasts, the hotel also adds another 2 more breakfast vouchers for my children's (15 & 13 years old) without any charges.
For the breakfast meal, we can rate it above average since they provided variety and quality food. Last, they also given us with small souvenir gift when we check out and fetch us to the station.
About the location, it just 2 minutes walk to the ticket entrance and full of restaurants, grocery shop, farmasi, cafe along the walking journey.
Overall, we are quite statified for our stay. Will stay again if visit Furong town.

MMerleyThe glamping site is very near the observatory deck of Furong waterfalls. The dome tent are quite far away from each other, so you have a bit of privacy in your lawn. There's some space in the platform where you can view the Youshi river and bird watching. At night it's peaceful and you can hear the crickets while sleeping. In the morning you can hear the birds chirping. It was a pleasant stay thought they were not able to provide the breakfast buffet because there were few guest around. But they were able to provide me a simple meal for my breakfast. The hotel also provides free pick-up service to and from the Train station.

Brand new facilities and equipment: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with advanced bathrooms and sufficient hot water. The quilts are very warm and comfortable to sleep. 3. Clean and comfortable: Clean the room and change toiletries in time every day. 4. Intimate and thoughtful service: The proprietress is an English teacher. FFar Off & OutThe hotel was in a great location. You can see the entire waterfall and city from your room.
There were only two main things that concerned us. The first was the smell. The hotel is located on top of a restaurant; therefore, you would often smell food in the room and in the halls. We did not quite enjoy the smell. The second is the cleanliness. Brooms and trash bags were left in the hallway as the cleaner cleaned the hotel. It felt quite unclean. The view on the side of the room/ hotel was also all trash. In the pictures, it looked like mountains or trees.
For foreigners, please check whether your room had sitting or squatting toilets. We had squatting toilets, but the photos did not show it.
