"Every staff speaks good English, very nice. The environment is extremely amazing. There forces you to put down your phone enjoy your holiday because there has no signal at all. But in the resort providing WiFi (not free). We definitely will go there again"

"Thank you to all the staff who made sure we were made to feel like special guests at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect overlooking the valley and only a short drive to the the dam which offers some spectacular views over the lake and perfect sunset views. Its a shame there wasn't more time to explore the area. You really are in nature up here... The room was large and bright with panoramic views and the jacuzzi with a view is a nice touch. Also thanks to Chia who provided with tips of things to do and see in the area. Hope to be back one day"

"The staff were all polite and helpful at all times. The hotel is very tired and needs a complete refurbishment, reception area which gives first impression was poor. All furniture is chipped, scratched just not inviting at all. Our room was spacious and bedding very clean, door lock needs attention, it’s difficult to lock as the barrel is loose. The pool outside our room had many tiles missing and the main pool had been patched up in an amateurish fashion. The hotel sign in the grounds has a letter missing. A lack of investment all round.  The hotel did arrange a tour on the lake for us which was beautiful and I thank them for that. Beware this hotel is not in the area for regular tour pick ups so you may struggle  to get on any organised tours."

"Very nice cozy place. Next to the nature. I had a connect rooms with my friends and it's possible to hear everything what they talk about. Also second room is on road side where people walking, so no river view. Bathrtub is awesome. Breakfast is nice. Dogs and birds are nice too. Thank you."

"The place is picturesque. Since we booked the cheapest room, we were accommodated in a small house with no soundproofing and a shared toilet and shower. We were prepared for this, since it was only for one night. The lake is a 10-minute bike ride away. The breakfast was good, prepared with love. The staff was friendly."

"The hotel offers limited activities and lacks facilities, so it’s best suited for a short stay. Be sure to request a room away from the roadside, as the lack of soundproofing affects sleep quality. However, the location is convenient for visiting nearby attractions around the dam. It's recommended for a brief stopover before moving on to your next destination."

"Quiet isolated location met expectations. The price tag seemed justified considering the amenities provided. First and foremost, the air conditioning system was functional just, adding to the aircon challenges, the lack of insulation exacerbated the heat Television enthusiasts, beware! The TV signal was virtually non-existent, rendering any hopes of entertainment futile. For those seeking a digital detox, this might be a blessing in disguise, but for most, it's a disappointing setback. Moreover, the resort's remote location proved to be a logistical challenge. Situated far from civilization, guests are left dependent on their vehicles or taxis to venture anywhere beyond the confines of the property. Be aware a bus or van from Surat Thani to Khao Sok national park does not come near the property. Double check your bookings in and out and I would not recommend any tight time schedules to the airport. However, amidst these shortcomings, one saving grace was the kindness of the staff. Despite the challenges, the staff remained courteous and accommodating, striving to mitigate the shortcomings of the establishment. The staff arranged all my transport albeit a little haphazardly. In conclusion, while the remote resort boasts a serene ambiance and amiable staff, the isolation in transport terms would require a traveler with vehicle. It is 5km from the dam and daily boat tours on the extensive lake amid magnificent karysts. Warning do not swim in the lake it's heavily polluted with sewerage."

"The room is clean, there is a swimming pool, near food sources, you can borrow the maid's motorbike to go shopping. There is also a car service to take you to Cheow Lan Dam, 300 baht per trip, can seat 10 people. Breakfast on the day I went, there was coffee, pork buns, fried dough sticks, cookies, but they ran out a bit early (the day I went, it rained in the morning, so it's understandable). Overall, it's okay."
