Relocated from near Alexander, Illinois (15 minutes east of Jacksonville) the restoration included reclaimed items and materials from the region that add to it’s charming story. As our guest, you will have access to the entire bunkhouse. This includes full access to our fully furnished micro-kitchen which includes a refrigerator, stove with an oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookie sheets, plates, glasses, coffee cups and more in case you decide you'd like to bring your own food and prepare a meal. Need some fresh air? The porch is a wonderful place to sit, read a book while listening to the sounds of nearby nature, or take a soak in our private outdoor antique cast iron tub (available April 1-November 1) under the stars.Guest accessGuest have full access to the entire bunkhouse and the surrounding property. Reclaimed building materials from over 10 different local barns, houses and structures were used during the restoration process and each contains a fun story about their history or how they were obtained. This includes both bedroom spaces - a master bedroom (The Barn Room) on the main floor and a large bedroom space upstairs (The Loft).
