Amazing
I recently stayed at Phong Nha Mountain House, and I can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable and welcoming experiences I've ever had. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They helped with everything from laundry and food to providing invaluable advice about the local area. They also assisted in booking an incredible tour around the caves, which was a highlight of my trip. When my motorbike broke down, they offered to find a mechanic for me and even took me to the bus station to make sure I could continue my journey safely. I could not recommend Phong Nha Mountain House enough. The hosts are some of the kindest, most genuine people I have met, and their hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable.

A beautiful place with all the comforts. Magnificent view! The scooter rental service is very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. Very quick laundry service. On-site dining available.

Overall, I have a good impression of the family who runs this accommodation. The location is excellent, right by the river, and the people are very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was good and enjoyable. What I did not like was the fact that we stayed in December, when the humidity was extremely high. The windows were constantly wet, and the room developed a musty smell. We had to keep the air conditioning on all the time to manage the humidity, but then the room became very cold. In general, it is a rather chilly accommodation, especially in winter, but the river view is absolutely beautiful and makes up for it.

Nice location one street away from the river. Quite location and around 1km to backpacker hostel, where most of the bus stops. Here you can book for your cave visits, boating and kayaking.

Best home stay around! Vinn and his wife are great hosts and provide a great atmosphere. Vinn is also a tour guide and offers an amazing tour to the caves which we took and it was wonderful!

The staff were super friendly. There are restaurants and shops near by. The rooftop is quite beautiful! There was a short man at the front desk who was extremely helpful, sadly I can’t rmr his name. I’d stay here again

Overall it was great, simply the fact that the price was very good and we were able to go to our room at 7am means it’s already been a great stay for us. Convenient for the duck stop and good location for the rest of Phong Nha. A couple things to improve on: Water pressure/flow in shower wasn’t the best It says 24 hr reception on trip.com but we got there at 5am and we couldn’t get in for two hours, the door was then going to be locked at 11pm but we wanted to stay out and they happily told us it’s ok to come back whenever, I just think it’s probably best to update on trip.com or wherever the hotel’s listed with a realistic idea of when the hotel’s doors open and close. The people who run the hotel are absolutely lovely. Thanks so much for a great stay :)

GGuest UserGreat location in Phong Nha, minutes walk to where the bus drops you off. The only good thing other than the location and price was the help the staff provided with logistics. Diep was very helpful arranging transportation for us, even on her day off. We chose this hotel because it was listed as a 3 star hotel, not sure if that is accurate. The hostels in the town looked much nicer, listed as 2 stars, but we are a little bit older and not sure we would fit in with the younger patrons shown in the hostel pictures. Though we wouldn’t have used their large pool due to the rainy weather, it was only half full of water and not usable. The breakfast included in the room price was limited; might want to inquire ahead of time.
