GGuest UserI recently stayed at Phong Nha Mountain House, and I can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable and welcoming experiences I've ever had. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They helped with everything from laundry and food to providing invaluable advice about the local area.
They also assisted in booking an incredible tour around the caves, which was a highlight of my trip. When my motorbike broke down, they offered to find a mechanic for me and even took me to the bus station to make sure I could continue my journey safely.
I could not recommend Phong Nha Mountain House enough. The hosts are some of the kindest, most genuine people I have met, and their hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable.

The hotel is a very nice view of the river and many places to sit and watch it.
We were very comfortable with me, while my bus arrived in Phong Nha very early and I had not booked room for the night during which my bus traveled.

RRamona EftimieOverall, I have a good impression of the family who runs this accommodation. The location is excellent, right by the river, and the people are very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was good and enjoyable.
What I did not like was the fact that we stayed in December, when the humidity was extremely high. The windows were constantly wet, and the room developed a musty smell. We had to keep the air conditioning on all the time to manage the humidity, but then the room became very cold.
In general, it is a rather chilly accommodation, especially in winter, but the river view is absolutely beautiful and makes up for it.

GGuest UserНемного далековато от центра поселка,, пешком минут 20. Если хорошая погода , это нормально и можно прогуляться. Но я попала под ливни и ехала на такси до пристани а потом пещеры вообще закрыли. Для тех кто на байке это просто идейный вариант. Двор красивый , ухоженный, номер уютный и очень стильный. Завтракать, ужинать можно во дворе, еда вкусная. В целом все хорошо

Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable.
The staff were helpful and were able to offer tours (can’t give any feedback on them as we didn’t use them), but they did arrange a motor bike for us.
We also used there push bikes, which was great.
Lovely view of the river while we sat on ate our breakfast.
Short walk or bike ride into the centre.

GGuest UserI can 100% recommend this to anyone!! It’s a very lovely family-run homestay which is located very very well. The staff is nice even though not all of them speak English and the breakfast is delicious as well. What I liked the most where the rooms with the big windows and balconies overlooking the river and the mountains. It was incredible waking up with this view.
The perfect place to stay if you want to rewind.

VVlad the TravelerThis family run hotel/homestay is located on the main(well only tbh) street in Phong Nha village, short walk from the ticket office for the phong nha caves. It features a rooftoop bar with really nice view, nice (and deep) pool, and a comfortable room(our was looking over the pool).
Most of all the family running the place are very friendly and helpful. The reception has loads of brochures for all kinds of tours and they can also help you with booking buses. The breakfast is simple, but tasty. Overall, recommended.

GGuest UserOverall it was great, simply the fact that the price was very good and we were able to go to our room at 7am means it’s already been a great stay for us.
Convenient for the duck stop and good location for the rest of Phong Nha.
A couple things to improve on:
Water pressure/flow in shower wasn’t the best
It says 24 hr reception on trip.com but we got there at 5am and we couldn’t get in for two hours, the door was then going to be locked at 11pm but we wanted to stay out and they happily told us it’s ok to come back whenever, I just think it’s probably best to update on trip.com or wherever the hotel’s listed with a realistic idea of when the hotel’s doors open and close.
The people who run the hotel are absolutely lovely.

GGuest UserGreat location in Phong Nha, minutes walk to where the bus drops you off. The only good thing other than the location and price was the help the staff provided with logistics. Diep was very helpful arranging transportation for us, even on her day off. We chose this hotel because it was listed as a 3 star hotel, not sure if that is accurate. The hostels in the town looked much nicer, listed as 2 stars, but we are a little bit older and not sure we would fit in with the younger patrons shown in the hostel pictures. Though we wouldn’t have used their large pool due to the rainy weather, it was only half full of water and not usable. The breakfast included in the room price was limited; might want to inquire ahead of time.
