Ios Palace Hotel & Spa
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Ios Palace Hotel & Spa and I can’t thank the team enough for everything they did. I was organising a surprise for my mum’s 60th birthday and wanted everything to be perfect. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and always polite and professional. I had lots of requests and arrangements to make before we arrived, but the team handled everything flawlessly and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Every detail was taken care of exactly as planned, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the celebration with my family. The level of customer service was exceptional, and it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making our stay special. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, fantastic facilities, and a wonderful atmosphere, but what really made our experience memorable was the outstanding service from the team. Thank you all for helping make my mum’s 60th birthday so special. I would highly recommend Ios Palace Hotel & Spa and would love to return in the future."
Relux Ios Hotel
"Located at the harbor very convenient. Modern, very nice staff. Some furniture in the rooms need to be repainted but other wise a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful well maintained garden, pathways and exterior. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, car scooters and quads rentals. Transit bus stations are also close if you don’t want to hike up to the Cora."
Agalia Luxury Suites
"I wanted to stay at calilo but the days I was going it was completely booked so came here. It was still a beautiful escape very friendly staff. Same owner as calilo so a lot of similarities. Panos and David went above and beyond to make my stay there memorable. Best service and a passion for what they do. Also have to thank the hotel and the driver I forget his name because I missed my ferry and they went above and beyond to get me to my destination ended up having to book a private boat to Santorini but they made all the arrangements for me and allowed me to stay at the hotel even after I checked out waiting for my boat. Thank you very memorable visit "
Yialos Ios Hotel
"Stayed 3 nights. Transferred from Santorini to Ios by Seajet high speed service, very good. Hotel was a short walk from harbour. Good size pool area with nice quality loungers etc. Pleasant bar area overlooking the pool. Breakfast was very good with a choice of food. Room was smallish (they do larger rooms) it was clean with a comfortable bed. Walk up a steep hill with steps taking circa 20 minutes to the main town (buses and taxis are available) lots of winding little streets with shops, restaurants and bars. Their are a few restaurants at the harbour also a small sandy beach. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Would we stay again…. Yes"
Kritikakis Village Hotel
"We had amazing stay, the staff were very friendly and welcoming! The burgers were unreal (particularly the wedges). The staff at the pool bar gave us great recommendations and were lovely! Thank you from the girls in 46 & 32. We will be back next year! 💞"
Liostasi
"We came to Ios just to see Homer's Tomb, but ended up LOVING Ios for its charming small town vibe. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel, and yet you feel tucked away. The staff at Liostasi were incredibly accommodating and attentive, and speak perfect English. We felt just like we were the only guests. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The pool was perfect and unique, with the writings of Homer illuminated around the edge. Also, even though I am not always a fan of massages, this was THE BEST massage I have ever had at a hotel. The entire experience was lovely. We wish we could have stayed longer. *Have them arrange a tour of Ios. It is really fun to the see the island and meet the people, AND taste the cheese and honey at the cheese museum."
Far Out Hotel & Spa
"This hotel is romantic and has an amazing view of Milapotas. I cannot speak enough on the pool and the staff. The bartender is a master at what he does. He makes the best piña colada’s I have ever had. I go back yearly just to see him! The food is great as well. "
Drakos Twins
FarOut - BeachResort & Camping
"We stayed in the cabins and when we arrived we weren’t told that there would be cleaners coming in the room everyday. Around 300 euros was missing from our wallets. Would not recommend this dodgy accommodation"

Hotel Petradi
"This is the best hotel I have ever been to. Dimitra and her amazing staff create a home from home in this beautiful hotel on this incredible Island. I have been to many hotels and I can honestly say this has been the best experience all round. The hotel is immaculate, the facilities are fantastic, the food is delicious and everyone who works there treats you like family and they cannot do enough for you. I would even go there on my own it’s so wonderful. I am very sad to leave them all and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you all so so much."
Acteon Hotel
"It was our first holiday as a couple after five years. Such a wonderful place. To be sure we booked to The Acteon cause our ferry arrived at 1am. When we contacted the Lady to arrange how to get in the room she has been very kind and available. The next morning she welcomed us and guide us about good breakfast, nice beaches and parties. We were surprised about her organization. Especially cause I forgot my makeup trousse in a restaurant the last night there (terrible for a girl, more for the sentimental value being that it is a gift), as soon as I called her she immediately went there to take it. What else to say, such a lovely person. Furthermore, the room was perfect for the situation. I mean very cosy, clean and furnished. Even if the cleaner start at 10 in the morning and you leave later you will find your room clean and tidy. It is not a common fact, in my experiences. Despite bad opinion, you are going in holiday so you don't need a Royal Suite. Try to enjoy outside. If you wanna stay in the room passing your time criticizing badly cause you don't have a jacuzzi to wash the sand on you then move away and pay more somewhere else. I mean, we are 19 and 22, so you can imagine how we are disorganized and caotic, but we lived in there peacefully and confortably. I felt that We paid the right amount for four nights in a well maintained room. Great place, rounded by rental shop, 24h mini market with fresh pastries and restaurants. I wont never regret about our choice and we are looking forward to go back. Go in holiday, sit back and enjoy the view!"
Golden Sun
"The Golden Sun is a really good Hotel. The position is very well, you are near the port and you can arrive in Chora by foot in ten minutes. The room was clean, comfortable and there was a balcony where you could see the amazing sunset of Ios. There is a nice pool with sun beds and beach umbrellas. The owners are very kindly and hospitality. The life motive of this location is the silence of the nature and the relax. These is a best choice for your holiday!"
Mare Monte
"We stayed at Mare Monte for 10 days, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. There was no hot water so we all had cold showers, another issue occurred when fake tan ended up on the bed sheets. Although most of the stains came out after washing, we were still fined £120. When we questioned the charge and refused to pay it immediately, the receptionist threatened to call the police Throughout our stay, the cleaner failed to provide fresh towels and didn’t change the sheets for most of our time there. Basic housekeeping standards were not met. Overall, this place seems more focused on squeezing money out of guests than providing a comfortable or welcoming stay. I would not recommend Mare Monte to anyone — it felt like a money-making scheme targeting at young people. As we were talking to older residents that lived there and they also said they got stains on sheets and didn’t get fined."
Sunrise Hotel
"We named this the Ios dungeon! And boy it was hell. Basically a hostel for the roughest people ever! First the room had the smallest hardest single beds! The bathroom was so dark you couldn’t see a thing and a rotten shower curtain! There were eyelashes on the floor, no cups at all in the room, and the hallway stunk of stale cigarettes! Also the cleaner on 2 occasions left the balcony door unlocked and wide open one time, which someone could have easily jumped up into!! Don’t stay here please unless you want to get awoken at 12am by yobs in the hallway for half an hour! Only good thing is you get a transfer from the port and back. The driver was lovely!"
Galaxy Hotel
"I stayed for 5 nights Nice people beautiful pool The rooms don’t work as limited space snd not utilised well . A fridge no glasses I had two issues a window in bathroom door when you entered swung and hit you in the face was very very dangerous The hosts are regularly not available, but did sort it when I asked also they sorted the dryer hanging on the wall which was falling off !! Certainly the door should never have been like that, the cleaner should of spotted it as was soo dangerous !! The key weighed a ton a huge lump of metal but you couldn’t leave it as they might be closed I moved to another place with amazing hosts great pool, bigger room, a great location for half the price I paid at Galaxy so that was overpriced relatively My error in original choice"
Armadoros Hotel / Ios Backpackers
"Lovely hotel, friendly ,helpful staff. My son and his friends had a fantastic holiday. Hotel rooms clean with bed linen changes and air con. There was also a fridge in the room. The swimming pool was huge. It was located very near the ferry port and a short walk up hill to the main strip. Would highly recommend"
Princess Sissy
Brother's Hotel
"Absolute exceptional hosts! Lisa and Nikki are amazing. Nikki did two pick ups for us from the port to drive us to the hotel. Lisa was very helpful and gave us lots of information and recommendations on arrival. The pool area is great, with very comfortable sunbeds. The rooms are spotless and have comfortable beds. They even have an honesty bar where you can help yourself out of the fridge at any time and pay at the end of your holiday. This shows how much trust and respect the hosts have for their guests which is amazing! The nicest, friendliest and accommodating people we have met on our travels. Thank you so much!! We will definitely be coming back here and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s fantastic!😁🩷"
