Almira Inn
"Hotel didnt want to cancel the booking when ferry was cancelled and I cant get on island. Because of this I had to lay twice for 2 ferries and finally reached the island. Location is comfortable. Near ferry station, supermarket, bus station and several bars and cafes"
Ios Palace Hotel & Spa
"Beautiful place. Beautiful views. Right beside the beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly."
Relux Ios Hotel
"Hotel Relux is a lovely clean, modern hotel in a fantastic location, close to all the restaurants and only a 3 minute walk to the port where all the ferries arrive. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with pool and Sea views. The wet room was spacious too with clean towels everyday and shampoo and body wash supplied. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. The pool area was clean and well looked after. It was a lovely pool but it had no shallow end, so difficult for some who might not be confident in the water or non swimmers. Pool towels are supplied. The hotel had a relaxing open air bar area at the front where you could relax and watch the world go by. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would love to return next year to enjoy this wonderful friendly island."
Yialos Ios Hotel
"We stayed in this hotel for three nights in late May. The hotel comprises a series of stand-alone buildings grouped around a swimming pool and sun terrace. The hotel sits beside a minor road serving the port. The hotel consists of a restored cheese factory and a number of new build units, generally two storeys high. It has about 35 rooms with a wide range of available facilities in the rooms (some rooms have a Jacuzzi or a private pool for instance, and some are apartments). Our room was a Deluxe Double. The hotel is situated on the edges of the port area but within easy walking distance of the centre of the area known as Yialos and of the beach – also Yialos! The beach has bars and restaurants. We reached the hotel by taxi (lazily because we were uncertain where it was) but it is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the port with luggage. The whole route is level. There is a hotel car park. We believe the hotel can adequately serve guests with mobility difficulties and those who might be in wheelchairs. A small building just off the road houses a reception area, the breakfast buffet area and a servery for coffee and drinks. Through the building there is a terrace used for breakfast but with seating that is employed by guests all through the day. There a bar. This terrace lays beside the large swimming pool and the sun terraces which are copiously furnished. There are a number of day beds. The whole area is substantially planted and well kept. Our room was sizeable, outside the room there is a private covered seating area with a table and bench sofas adequate for four or five people. The room itself had a large circulation area with a WC and walk in shower directly off and a pair of wash-handbasins set in an open recess. There was a hanging rail sufficient for several days’ clothes and shelving for clothes storage. There was a refrigerator and a safe. There was a short bench which could be used for sitting on or as a shelf. The bed, which was large and comfortable, was on a raised concrete platform at the furthest end of the room. We understand that this is not a common feature – we found it difficult, probably because of our age, but getting onto and off the mattress was difficult because there was no height between the bed and the floor. The arrangement worked but it provided additional entertainment as we crawled around! The lighting scheme is extravagant and provided another focus for entertainment, but once mastered it was very useful. Bedlinen and towels were of good quality. Excellent toiletries were provided. There was some noise from the unit above, but not of consequence even though the hotel was reasonably full. There was no external noise. Aircon was efficient and wifi was good – it worked outside too. Housekeeping was excellent. We took breakfast at the hotel and as far as we are aware no other meals are offered although there is a continuous supply of drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic- and snacks"

Hotel Petradi
"This is the best hotel I have ever been to. Dimitra and her amazing staff create a home from home in this beautiful hotel on this incredible Island. I have been to many hotels and I can honestly say this has been the best experience all round. The hotel is immaculate, the facilities are fantastic, the food is delicious and everyone who works there treats you like family and they cannot do enough for you. I would even go there on my own it’s so wonderful. I am very sad to leave them all and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you all so so much."
Kritikakis Village Hotel
"Probably this is the best hotel that we have stayed in this Europe trip. Staff members are very helpful, cheerful and considerate. They had a PowerPoint to go through with us at the check in. Very clear and welcoming introduction. 🤍they also offered a free upgrade for our room! So grateful! The room is so spacious and nicely decorated. They did housekeeping every day to change our beddings & provide toiletries! all the staff and clean ladies are so heartwarming and they genuinely want you to have the best stay in Ios island. We had the best vacation here! Highly recommended!"

Hotel Aegeon
"Friendly family run hotel. Spacious rooms, excellent a/c. Right along the front We had triple sea view balcony. Good pool with pool bar also. Pick ups and drop offs available from the port. Would definitely recommend. Friendly family team . "
Mare Monte
"We stayed at Mare Monte for 8 days and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly hospitable staff. Their friendliness and helpfulness truly made a difference. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the beach, close to great restaurants, and near several scooter rental companies, which made exploring the area super easy. The hotel itself has a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The only small downside was that the mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, and the douche is a little bit tiny. But that really comes down to personal preference. All in all, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend Mare Monte to anyone visiting the area!"
Lofos Village
"We stayed for 4 nights in a room with a fantastic view of Chora. The room was modern, well decorated, clean, comfy with a coffee machine and fridge. The hotel is in an excellent position, just a short walk from the town, the bars, restaurants and shops. The host Elizabeth was wonderful. She took the time to explain anything and everything. She gave recommendations on restaurants, places to visit on the island and how to get around. There were a couple of small issues which she dealt with immediately. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Ios."
Armadoros Hotel / Ios Backpackers
"Hotel was okay but the female staff member with brown hair was incredibly rude. My friend and I had gone to get some groceries and left them in our bag while we got in the pool. She went out of her way to look inside our bag (which is very rude) and started shouting at us across the pool that we aren’t allowed to eat at the pool. We weren’t eating we had just left our groceries in there. She proceeded to shout at us for about 15 minutes nonstop calling us impolite and saying she will ban us from the pool, we weren’t even being rude we politely responded saying we’d put the bag away but she would not stop shouting. She was very grumpy and continued to have an attitude with us for the rest of our stay. Other girls staying at the hotel told us they had the same experience with this very rude and grumpy staff member"
Calilo
"I wąż promise counciere 24h and I ask fir few staff in the email when I arrive the person check in didnt know what I want and it is problem with service i wanted my counciere 24h iron my dresses I was told no and it is housekeeping job !"
Ios Grand Pool Suites
"WOW! Had an amazing 9 nights in the super establishment! The 1bed with private pool room we had just amazed with its outside space and views! The 'hotel' sits at the top of the cliff and is part of a larger hotel that sits below it, you can also use the 'main' hotels services, but you really do not need (or even want) to as the suite has everything you need. All the main staff were amazing, nothing seemed too much trouble. If I were to pick a fault it would be the bathroom is a tad small and the 'cleaning' each day could have been better."
Skala Sunset Hotel and Spa
"Skala Sunset is a true hidden gem in Ios. Perched above Chora, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the village and sea—ideal for watching the sunset with a cocktail by the pool. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the hotel itself is clean, stylish, and well-equipped with a spa and shuttle service. An unforgettable spot to unwind and enjoy the magic of the Cyclades. Highly recommended!"
Hide Out Villas
Agalia Luxury Suites
"Impeccably clean suite, so spacy rooms, you really feel like king and queen. Plenty of view, to the west and to the east. You cannot really choose, sunrise or sunset! The food at the restaurant was also very good!"
Drakos Twins
Brother's Hotel
"What a wonderful hotel! My now husband and I stayed for 3 nights before our wedding in Ios in June and we couldn’t of had a better experience at Brothers Hotel. Lisa and Nicki were so welcoming and kind. They gave us so much information about the island and especially food. All their recommendations were some of our favourite places we ate while away, so so delicious. Nicki was so helpful collecting us from the port and giving us a ride to our pre wedding appointment at the town hall! Thank-you so much both of you for making our first few days on Ios unforgettable, we’ll definitely be back!"

FarOut - BeachResort & Camping
"Bouncers and venue staff are awful and have no respect for those attending the club. My friend was spiked and it took staff over an hour to call for an ambulance even though they could clearly see her limp on the floor unable to move. The bouncers laughed at her while she lay on the floor vomiting (doing so while her friends kept her head up as she had no control over her body). This situation could have been resolved and my friend could have been looked after super fast if the staff had acted and helped as soon as they were made aware of the situation, Instead they stood there and laughed the entire time. Absolutely disgusting."
