Hotel Chauncey Iowa City, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Our room was huge, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. We had some confusion about parking but eventually got that straightened out. We would definitely stay here again.

Handicap accessible not user friendly Hotel was lovely. Only question is why would you put a handicap accessible room as far away as possible from the elevator?

Great room, large and well appointed. Good view from balcony. Chairs had bent legs, balcony door did not lock, bathroom shower slick, extremely slick. Went to the bowling alley as its the only option for food in the building. Food was expensive and disappointing. Good margarita but small and they don't allow you to take one to your room. I got coffee and an espresso shot at The Fix.. nothing fancy or impressive. I would have loved for them to have more options and sime pastries or even bananas, or something. Price of room was great but you also pay 15 dollars a day to park, which makes the daily cost not as equitable. I would stay again as it is close to the hospital, my reason for visiting, but I would skip the bowling alley and the Fix.

Room was exceptional. Everything clean modern and top quality. Bosch microwave, Wolf countertop induction cooktop, Pull out drawer frig and freezer. Rainfall shower with extra water hose. . The room with 2 queen size beds was the size of an apartment. Retracting reading lights on bed. Dining table, desk, sofa and comfortable chair and ottoman. Everything top quality and well appointed.

So-so Walls are thin. Bed was lumpy. Rooms are big. Front desk was responsive. Housekeeping was kind. Workout room was adequate. No water in the workout room.

Spacious and Accessible I was able to navigate the hotel lobby and wheel up to the check in desk. The room is big and spacious, clean, and accessible for a wheelchair user. Highly recommend.
