The room itself was okay, but the cleanliness was far below what I expected. I had to call housekeeping immediately after checking in because it was obvious the room had only been cleaned on the surface. There was a significant amount of dust, debris, and rubbish hidden under the sofa. When I showed the housekeeping staff, they were visibly surprised by how much dirt came out once the sofa was moved. They had to vacuum the area all over again. That alone shows the room was never properly cleaned before my arrival.
The service was equally disappointing. Almost every request required me to call at least twice before anything was done. Response time was consistently slow, which made the stay unnecessarily frustrating.
The most unacceptable part of my stay was the hotel's complete lack of consideration for its guests. The hotel decided to carry out drilling and maintenance work directly outside my room without giving any prior notice. At that moment, I was attending an online meeting while my baby was asleep. I immediately called the front desk and asked them to stop the drilling temporarily since no notice had been given. Even then, they didn't stop right away. I eventually had to step outside and raise my voice before they finally paused the work.
This is not a minor inconvenience, it's poor management. Maintenance is understandable, but failing to inform guests in advance is completely unacceptable. A simple notice or courtesy call could have prevented this entire situation. For a hotel, this level of cleanliness, service, and lack of communication is simply not acceptable.
