Location just nice about 30 min from highway, just basic things in the room

Spent a night here. The location is average, but there are plenty of parking spots available. There’s even a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient. They’re very strict about checkout time, they even called and WhatsApped to remind me 😅. Room was cozy and comfortable overall.

The stay was short so i can say it was good for one day . But the solar water heater was bit dissapointed . Because i couldn’t get hot water instantly .

Booked for someone’s business trip. This hotel is usual choice due to its close to company.

Hotel location is just 2 mins walk to Tesco supermarket . Coffeshop and nasi kandar just beside only. Need to request for non smoking room cos strong cigarette smell on level 1. Overall is good

For the price, I think it is a reasonable option.  However objectively: 1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking.  The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the "fix" was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about.  To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.  2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews.  However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.  3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the "make my room" card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both.  They only cleaned 1.  I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.  4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.  5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.  6. The staff were helpful and friendly.  Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).  7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible.  It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.  All in all, it was a decent stay.  Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.
