I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend staying here.
When I first entered the room, there was a strong smell of air freshener. The hotel had clearly sprayed a large amount of air freshener throughout the room to mask the smell of cigarette smoke, which is something hotels should avoid doing, especially because some guests may have respiratory sensitivities or allergies. The bed sheets also did not appear clean. Although the hotel staff changed the sheets, the issue was not resolved because the pillows, duvet, and even the air coming from the AC still smelled heavily of cigarette.
To make matters worse, the guests in the room next door were extremely loud late at night. Between 11:30 PM and 12:30 AM, they kept their doors open while talking loudly in the corridor, and on the phone. Despite the disturbance, the hotel staff did not remind them to be considerate of other guests.
Because of the smell and noise, I requested a room change. The second room they showed me also had a very strong smell, so I rejected it. From around midnight until 12:30 AM, the staff repeatedly insisted that no other rooms were available. Eventually, they showed me a third room on the same floor and of the same category, which clearly proved that another room had been available all along.
By this point, I was extremely frustrated and wanted to check out immediately. I asked for a refund, and the staff instructed me to cancel the reservation through ***********. However, after I submitted the cancellation request, the hotel refused it. I ended up making another booking elsewhere and stayed at this hotel for only one night.
I have also attached a video showing part of my experience, sitting in my room late at night while the neighboring guests were being loud and disruptive.
Overall, this was a very poor experience due to the cleanliness issues, cigarette smell, excessive use of air freshener, noise disturbance, and the unhelpful handling by the hotel staff.
The location is too far from everything, I don’t recommend them at all.
