Desde el momento en que llegamos al Hotel Marañón en Iquitos, cada detalle superó nuestras expectativas. El trato al cliente es de primera: el personal es increíblemente amable y cortés, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Las amenidades están bien pensadas, y la piscina es sencillamente espectacular, cristalina, bien cuidada, ideal para relajarse al final del día. El WiFi es súper Rápido por vía Cifra Óptica, alcanza cualquier rincón del Hotel. El baño con ducha de lluvia y agua caliente ofrece un confort que no esperábamos encontrar tan fácilmente en esta zona, haciendo de la estancia una experiencia aún más placentera. El desayuno incluido fue otro nivel: jugos frescos que sobrepasan cualquier expectativa, platos bien preparados y lo más sorprendente: la atención directa del chef, que se acerca a los huéspedes para asegurarse de que todo esté a su gusto. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Marañón in Iquitos, every detail exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, with superb air conditioning that felt like a blessing in the Amazon heat. Everything was clean, well organized, and clearly maintained with great care. The customer service is top-notch: the staff is incredibly kind and courteous, always ready to help with a smile. The amenities are well thought out, and the pool is simply stunning, crystal clear and beautifully maintained—perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The Wi-Fi is super fast through fiber optic connection and reaches every corner of the hotel. "Beautiful hotel but disappointed pool was under construction. Manager kindly compensated us with a bottle of wine. Shower in our room did not provide hot water, the water was rust colour, did not drain properly, and had mould. We were moved to another room which was spacious and clean. The second night there was loud music playing below our room until 11. We were not impressed as we had to get up at 3:30 am and we were told it was a planned event and could not lower the music. Bad planning putting us in that room when they knew it was going to be loud. Food at restaurant was just OK. Filet mignon was overcooked and definitely not the quality of meat expected. Our guide Angel (Dendrobirds Peru) who travelled with us brought us to areas nearby for the couple of days to see various beautiful frogs."
