"Beautiful hotel but disappointed pool was under construction. Manager kindly compensated us with a bottle of wine. Shower in our room did not provide hot water, the water was rust colour, did not drain properly, and had mould. We were moved to another room which was spacious and clean. The second night there was loud music playing below our room until 11. We were not impressed as we had to get up at 3:30 am and we were told it was a planned event and could not lower the music. Bad planning putting us in that room when they knew it was going to be loud. Food at restaurant was just OK. Filet mignon was overcooked and definitely not the quality of meat expected. Our guide Angel (Dendrobirds Peru) who travelled with us brought us to areas nearby for the couple of days to see various beautiful frogs."

"Red Uakari provided me with a wonderful Amazon experience! Orlando and his family made me feel safe and cared for as a solo female traveler. I had a blast traipsing through the jungle, feeding monkeyes, learning crafts in the village, fishing for pirhana among other activities. I saw so many animals and made so many awesome memories! I would totally love to visit again and would 100% reccomend!"
