The hotel is just 1-2 km from autobahn A7 yet gives a rural impression, good for long-distance travellers. We were staying on a Saturday night where the hotel hosted a large wedding, cheerful but noisy. The staff and hotel owner were super helpful in getting us a quiet room away from the action.

Hotel and staff and food is great. one small improvement to the room would be a coffee& tea maker, esp as we tend to arrive on Sundays and the restaurant is not open. And for evening drink in the room. It is nice that the windows can open (I travel a lot to US, and hate air conditioning). The one real big issue is that the WIFI is horrendous, we were in Hennies for workshops and that means we need it to be reliable and reasonable fast, and it is neither. We tried all ways of setting it up, it worked at times but mostly it did not. This time it also did not work at all in the room, I needed to set up a hotspot. so that is a real showstopper for future visits.

A very cozy and friendly place. It is clean and quiet. Very near the A7 for travelers. Possible to have dinner til 21.30, next morning the breakfast was wonderful. Have booked same place for next week when we journey home.

hhotel located close to the highway but in a quiet area. nice service, comfortable room. varied breakfasts, tasty à la carte dishes for the evening meal (especially nice waiter service), pet-friendly hotel.

Located close to the highway but with nice surroundings and absolutely no noise it makes the perfect location for a quick pit stop. Beautiful historic buildings nicely reformed, with rooms that have everything you might wish for. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is superb. Went there the second time already – Very recomendable!

stayed for 1 night - got a room on the last floor , no air con. too many stairs to climb 40+ (some of them are spiral staircase) room was at the attic, so half of the room was blocked by the low celling. would not stay again ....
