Breezy Palms Resort

We had an amazing relaxing time at Breezy Palms resort!!! We stayed in a 1st floor ocean front apartment that was recently updated, very clean and had a great view of the ocean. Nice to have the full kitchen-used every day. Bathroom was just right and had great shower! Bed was comfortable and great sheets!Screened lanai was perfect. Pool was wonderful, clean and warmer than the ocean! There is nice small beach with sand here. We didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor BBQs, but they looked well maintained, clean, and had everything for grilling. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Fully stocked on site store with bait, snacks, clothing, bottled soft drinks, Blue Bunny ice cream treats, and toiletries. Great maintenance throughout the resort. Although on Route 1, we didn’t hear the highway - lots of roosters and birds chirping. Iguanas were cool to see every day. They have a great dock to fish off of and we did fish for the last 3 days (got a 3 day salt water shore fishing license from nearby bait & tackle store) off the concrete dock and caught a grunt, pinfish, & 28” tarpon - all released. This location was great for seeing all of the keys because it’s a mile marker 80. Walking to nearby restaurants, marina and bridge to see sunset was within 1/4 mile - we could have used the bicycles, but didn’t bring the right footwear for biking. Breezy Palms resort was awesome!! Definitely a place for everyone - couples, families & solo travelers.

The staff was good and the property was decent, my problem was with a stopped up toilet that ended up being the main line stopped, I even tried to unstop the toilet with a plunger. I was not offered any compensation for my stay, I was told "leave now and you can have a refund" We had nowhere else to go at that time of night and no hotels had vacancies, not even the Breezy Palms. We had to use the restroom in the lobby throughout our stay, The GM was very rude and accused me of just wanting a free room, we were not looking for anything free or a refund, just maybe a discounted night for our inconvenience. The GM instead called me and ******* to complain about me. This is horrible customer service, he yelled at me as if I did something wrong. Hey keep your money, its not that big a deal, but don't lie and accuse me of doing anything wrong, fix your plumbing and while your at it fix the phone, the clock and the stove, also clean out the refrigerator it smelled of fish from the fishermen who rented it before me. If you stay here be sure to bring your own plunger or be prepared to use the lobby restroom.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and exceeded my expectations. The beach behind the resort was beautiful and easily one of the highlights of the stay. Everything was well maintained, and the overall experience was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We loved our ocean view room. Nicely renovated and loved the screened-in porch. Beds were super comfy and we loved having the full kitchen. The beach area is awesome with loungers spread out for shade. There's volleyball and cornhole. We couldnt swim there...theres a boat rental marina right there and tons of seaweed so not conducive for swimming. Lots of nearby restaurants for catching a beautiful sinset. A couple of suggestions....some curtains on the bedroom windows would be amazing. The current blinds on the windows allow light in on the sides early in the morning and for privacy issues, curtains would solve that problem. Also a full length mirror somewhere and a safe in the room would be greatly appreciated by guests. There is no hairdryer or iron in the room so plan to bring those. You can borrow those items from the office but I felt that was inconvenient and they should be standard in the room. We used the pool once. Alot of the loungers in the shade had iguana poop all over them as well as around the pool deck. Overall we had a great time at Breezy Palms. Some rooms are under renovation and I feel the owners are on the right track with this property...Just a few tweaks would make it amazing.

First time here and we will definitely be back! Pool, amazing views from the patio, boat and jet ski rentals and close to restaurants and bars!! Room was perfect with a full kitchen and living room. We will be back! 10/10

We stayed for 3 days. Breezy Palm is small quite and on the beach. Very clean and cozy. They have Boat rentals available. Great place to lounge in the sun. Nice breeze coming off the water. Plenty of parking. Will stay again on future trips to the Keys.

A pleasant setting. Close to several restaurants. And easy access to the bridges for fishing.

Very easy check in, helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and very well air conditioned
