This was my first time to the Florida Keys and I'm really happy we decided to stay at Three Waters Resort. We stayed in a King Oceanfront room for two nights. Our room was in building 2, located on the 3rd floor, and was furnished with high quality furniture and was very clean. The only complaint about the room was the lack of counter space in the bathroom. But the view, you can't beat that view. Waking up and watching the sunrise from the comfort of your bed was the best! There is plenty to do and eat at the resort, so you don't really need to leave the property. We ate at Mercado Morada, Tiki Bar, and Islamorada Pizza Co. Our favorite was Mercado Morada. The loaded tostones and carnitas tacos were amazing! On our first morning in Islamorada, we ventured off property to a highly-reviewed breakfast establishment (not at the resort) and I found it mediocre. The 2nd morning, we decided to stay at the resort and eat breakfast at Mercado Morada and it was 100x better than the local restaurant we ate at the prior morning. Highly recommend eating at Mercado Morado! There are complimentary kayaks and SUPs for guests to use. There is a free rumrunner boat ride to the sister properties, but we missed it the first day, and the 2nd day was too windy and the boat wasn't running. We also participated in the free rum tasting held in the lobby. Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the staff. Everyone was so nice and very friendly. This may have been the best service we've ever received from each and every staff member we encountered. I highly recommend the Three Rivers Resort & Marina. (I also included a photo of the public restroom on site. I've never seen a restroom that was as clean as this one!)

Great place for friends and fun! We enjoyed some drinks at the bar and the fries are delicious. The bar staff at Tiki is super friendly and helpful! We love Kelly! Thankful for the team who gave us a tour of the new facilities for future stays. We enjoyed our time!

Three waters had everything. From the relaxing seating out on the dock with the fire pits to the live entertainment to the gorgeous Kokomo pool, three waters had enough to keep you entertained. We didn’t even take the water taxi to the other sister resorts. Its was absolutely gorgeous!

This resort was fantastic. Pools were great with full sun all day and the beaches had direct walk in water access, plenty of activities for adults and kids at the property. Food was great with a bunch of options. Bartenders, Servers and Staff were great and everyone was super friendly. Not sure but i think most of the bad reviews of this resort are from when they were renovating. If i had to say 1 thing negative, the rooms are a bit small but that is because it is a renovated older resort, but it was a super nice room and bathroom and the view from balcony was amazing. I am Titanium Elite Marriott would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at Three Waters Islamorada in early March 2025 in the Cove section, shortly after it reopened as part of a combined resort. It is now an extensive property; the pleasant but windy walk from the Cove to the end of the marina is a half mile. Room 7308, where we moved after concern about the unappealing view from 7202, was nicely designed inside and out. The main restaurant, Kindler, was not yet open; we did not eat at the other dining options that were open. Staff were friendly, eager to atone for some of the shortcomings still present at reopening. The room water bottles did not twist open and were dated 10-11-2024. We responded to the pre-arrival email from the concierge and got a “Permanently failed” message. The sink stopper was impossible to move. There were ants in the kitchen area in our 3rd floor room. And there was annoying music playing in the common and parking areas. The daily resort fee of $65 with taxes is, as elsewhere, a hidden charge that results in disrespect all around. We are thankful that some monetary relief was offered at checkout for these various inconveniences. The resort has potential, but we will be checking TA reviews for some upgrade commentaries before our next visit to Islamorada.

My family and I recently stayed at Three Waters Resort & Marina in Islamorada, and overall, it was a fantastic experience—truly a home away from home. The resort’s transformation from the old Postcard Inn is impressive, with its sprawling 15-acre oceanfront setting, vibrant island vibe, and plenty of activities to keep us busy. The staff were warm and welcoming, the beaches (especially Sunrise Beach) were a blast for the kids, and the Tiki Bar’s sunset views were a nightly highlight. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a cozy Keys-inspired feel, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. That said, a couple of things stood out compared to the Postcard Inn days. I was disappointed to find no feather pillows—something I’d gotten used to in the past. The bedding was comfortable enough, but those fluffy pillows were missed! Also, activities like kayaking and paddleboarding, which used to be free with the stay, now come with a charge unless bundled into specific packages. It’s a bummer to see that shift, though the resort fee still covers some perks like bikes and the water taxi, which we loved using to hop between properties. Despite those quirks, Three Waters won us over. The pools (especially the swim-up bar) were a hit, the marina added a cool boating vibe, and the food options—like Mercado Morada’s street eats—kept everyone happy. It’s not perfect, but it’s a place we’d return to for that laid-back Keys escape. Great stay, indeed!

The property is lovely, rooms very generously sized. We had an ocean view room on the first floor and we could walk straight out to the beach. Not hard to get chairs if you got out in the morning. Marina was fun. Fed tarpon, saw sharks and tons of manatees. Live music each night. Beautiful evenings. Excellent service. Very clean. Why not 5 stars: needs better restaurant selection. only a couple _all central American. Needs steak house and good family Italian w pasta, veal and fish. A regular breakfast place with the typical Buffet of juices. Pastry, eggs and pancakes. No place like that. And a general store ( not just bait shop) with snacks And drinks and wine and donuts and bagels, sunscreen. Sunglasses. Really great trip. We'd stay again. I'd just like to see the food stepped up. Lots of water sports, well manicured beach. A true gem.

Overall our stay was wonderful. The recreation staff was awesome. Especially David. He was so hospitable and helpful. Pools and beach were enjoyable. The rooms were nice and clean but a bit small. Pizza restaurant and Starbucks were so convenient . Would stay again.

First of all, Three Waters Resort is nice and clean. It is a MOTEL with some very serious issues. For the rate I paid, $3,953 for four nights, is way overpriced; maybe at best the value could be $2,000 for four nights. The main issue is there is NO proper restaurant. There are three “outside bar” restaurants. None have a complete menu, more like bar food. One is sushi oriented, the other Mexican and the Tiki Bar with straight bar foods, all with a very limited menu. Worse, the only way to dine for breakfast is in your room. All employees are exceptionally nice. It’s that the owners have not given them “tools” to work with. There are other negative issues that really aren’t worth rating and could be acceptable; no MOTEL is perfect. My advice is think long and hard before booking.
