Hadley Resort and Marina

Hadley Resort in Islamorada was a fantastic base for our trip. Breakfast was good, seating area outside was lovely, with many options, which made mornings really easy. The staff were genuinely helpful throughout our stay, and our pool villa was very clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing after long days out. The location couldn’t have been better — ideal for exploring the Keys, and we easily travelled to both Marathon and Key West. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

There’s quite a bit of variety in the accommodation choices. Whether you are on a family vacation, a boater/jet skiier, or just want to gaze at the ocean or poolside, you’ll enjoy this hotel’s location.

The rooms are old need to be remodeled. You have to request towels and bedding to be cleaned. Wrong size lids for coffee cups. Breakfast is not served until 8 am. What about all the people who fish Early?

Lots of free parking. Room was clean. Shower pressure and temperature was fantastic. Pool and breakfast was nice and simple (bagels, package waffles, yogurt, coffee) which was a nice touch.

Let me start by saying that this hotel has a convenient location, the pool will typically be yours during the morning hours and the marina staff and prices are very affordable compared to nearby marinas. It’s overall so cute and could be something really special with some minor updating and increasing staff. Now for things that could improve. Overall the property is dated and needs some updating. Pool towels are so thin and fraying. Additionally they are stocked as they should be. On two occasions I stopped at the office to pick them up and was told to come back in 45 minutes. Chairs at the pool are falling apart. The fabric at the seats is separating from the frame on 80% of the chairs. The pool area isn’t maintained. The same beverage cans sat on the ground during my entire stay. The stairwell in the tower is crumbling and there were huge chunks of concrete in the walking area that was not safe. Our ceiling in our bathroom was leaking which produced this gross brown stuff on the shower floor each day. They advertise having kayaks and paddle boards. There’s 2 kayaks and 1 broken paddle board. There’s no private beach! There’s chairs set up at the jetty’s that you can sit in but can’t access the water that way. The floor in our room was slippery like it had a film on it or possibly dim sunscreen that wasn’t cleaned off. The nightstand had a film of dirt on it that I thankfully was able to clean with the wipes I brought with me. I would not stay here again.

Clean rooms, nice property. Pool is small but looked nice and clean. Nice view of the ocean at the edge of the property. No beach. Did not use the pool. Buffet breakfast was advertised and mentioned at check-in. Was not what I would call a buffet. It was a minimal continental breakfast at best. Bread, bagels, dry cereal, oatmeal, boiled eggs, coffee, milk, and one flavor of yogurt singles.

room was clean, AC was very loud. Pool small, no beach access. Breakfast was limited to coffee, granola bars and bread. Considering the price of the stay, I expected more. It was nice that they had bikes to borrow but note that they only have 2.

Breakfast menu is the same daily but covers all the basics and there some, and you can have it between 8 and 10:30 am which is nice. The rooms and a/c are clean, nice and everything works including a keurick coffee machine. The staff is super professional and great to interact with and they went out of their way to bring my autistic son (25 y/o) back to the cottage when he went out (THANK YOU VERY MUCH). I recommend this place 100%

This stay was perfect for what we needed which was a bed for a night. It offered free breakfast so we could get on our way taking the slow drive to Key West. The rooms needed some maintenance, handles in the bathroom were loose and there was a large seam exposed in the floor across the entire room. We had a reservation for 6 people and there were only 4 towels and no sheets in the room for the pullout on arrival. The staff was aware we were checking in late and assured us they are open 24 hours for check in now. Which is true, so previous reviews saying no late check in that has been addressed, but definitely call ahead. However the person who checked us in came from off property and just happened to pull up a few minutes after we arrived, friendly, but in pajamas. We did not take advantage of the pool or marina but those would be pluses I believe if we were staying longer.
