The best choice if you want to leave the island the next morning, it is less than 10 minutes from the port. If you choose, try to choose a room with a view. The scenery outside the window is beautiful.

A big villa, the room is really small, the bathroom is so small that it is difficult to turn around, but it is clean and hygienic, the decoration is warm and comfortable, dinner has to be taken a few kilometers away by shuttle bus, breakfast is in the hotel, it is relatively simple, the level of B&B, more than 3000 room rate in Sky Island can only be like this

The Toravaig was closed and we were relocated to the Duisdale, another hotel nearby owned by the same owners. We were given a room outside the building, like a small house. The breakfast is great and the common rooms are very cosy.

As a loyal user of Ctrip for many years, I have spent hundreds of thousands of yuan so far. This trip itself was very pleasant, but who would have thought that the reality was so bad. During my stay in the UK, I suddenly developed acute gastroenteritis due to diet, weather and other reasons, and I was so uncomfortable that I couldn't check in on time. I provided medical certificates, diagnosis books, and proof of taking medicine according to Ctrip's requirements, and wanted to cancel the hotel (the cancellation time was four days before check-in!), but Ctrip and the hotel never processed the cancellation. Is it necessary for me to stay in the hotel with a sick body? If something happens to me in the hotel, is it the responsibility of Ctrip, the responsibility of the hotel, or the responsibility of both parties? ! Is this how Ctrip, which has been used for many years, protects the rights of customers? Is it so difficult for a compatriot who is in a foreign country and cannot check in and travel on time due to illness? I hope all travelers can learn from this! Travel on the premise of protecting your own health! I also hope that everyone can use Ctrip with caution to avoid my things from happening again! If the above content is fictitious, I am willing to bear all legal responsibilities!

Positive : The room was spacious, and the bathroom was pleasant, sufficiently large, and well-equipped. Breakfast was satisfactory, with a caveat regarding the provision of a croissant (see the negative section). The complimentary shuttle service to dine at the sister establishment, the "Duisdale Hotel," was appreciated. Negative : I. The reserved room was advertised as having a "sea view." In reality, the "sea view" was more of a "sea glimpse," barely visible in the distance. II. My wife, who does not eat hot dishes such as eggs, porridge, etc., asked for croissants. Initially, the response was negative, but eventually, the waitress brought her one croissant… The breakfast room is very small (see the following comment). III. The hotel was predominantly occupied by wedding guests. However, this is no reason to neglect "standard" guests like us: a) Upon arrival, we waited for five minutes at the reception desk before anyone noticed our presence. b) When we wanted to go to the lounge to enjoy some drinks by the fireplace, it was inaccessible as it had been merged with the small dining room to accommodate the wedding guests. IV. Since the hotel is unable to provide substantial dining options, we were offered the option to dine at the "Duisdale Hotel," a sister establishment of the "Toravaig House Hotel." We chose to do so. The food offered at the "Duisdale" is neither particularly affordable nor remarkable. In conclusion, we fully understand that the hotel was reserved for a wedding, but in that case, it should not accept reservations from other guests. If it does, the service for these other guests must remain consistent, which was not the case here. All these remarks were shared verbally with the staff present at the time of our departure.

We arrived and were greeted with smiles and an incredible warmth by the staff members. Everyone was helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was a little tight, but very comfortable and big bed and clean good working amenities.
