Uig Hotel
4.6/5104 Reviews
The Uig Hotel is very cozy and friendly and we were pleased to see that they have survived the covid pandemic and still offer a warm welcome to their guests. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms behind the main building and had amazing views of the bay. The room was very spacious but the bed was a little small - there is certainly plenty of space to put in a super king sized bed so why not do that? The bathroom was a little basic but had a great heated towel rail for drying off wet clothes after a day out. The food at the Uig Hotel is excellent. They have changed chef since our last visit and the standard, quality and presentation of the food has all improved enormously and it was already great 3 years ago. The only thing that would have improved the food would have been a daily special since we stayed for a longer time. This hotel is also dog friendly which was great for us and the only place where Loki couldn’t go was the dining room but if we had wanted to eat in the bar he was welcome there. We hope to visit again one day.
Hotel Eilean Iarmain

We stayed in this hotel for 2 blissful nights. The hotel is situated in a beautiful bay with breathtaking views in the south of Skye. Our lovely cosy room was in the Garden House annexe and had a 4 poster bed and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. It just felt like stepping back in time and being a guest at a castle. The bedding was confortable and everything was very clean. There's a pub and restaurant with local food in the main building. Cooked breakfast is served to order at the table and there's also a small buffet with continental, cereals, fruit etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and would recommend it for an authentic experience of beautiful Skye

Next to the parking lot and gas station and supermarket, it is very convenient ~ Linhai, the scenery is also very beautiful ~ may be too tired, sleep very well, did not find some people said that the problem of poor sound insulation. It doesn't feel good, the breakfast food variety is not very rich.
