Radisson Hotel Istanbul Merter

The hotel is quite new; I heard it hasn't even completed two years yet. The room's amenities like the air conditioning, TV, and electrical switches are all high quality and still very new. The hotel offers a peaceful environment for relaxation. I observed many foreign tourists staying here. The room has amenities you'd expect from a 5-star hotel, such as 2 complimentary bottles of water, an iron, a safe, and slippers. The bathroom is excellent, again with quality products used. The staff are incredibly helpful and respectful. The pool is small but adequate, and you're asked to wear a swimming cap. The showers are sufficient, and changing rooms are available. Now, regarding what I wasn't happy with... There's a broken tile in the corner of the pool wall, which needs immediate repair. I don't know if it's been fixed as of this writing. The edge of the children's pool is green with mold, which should be routinely cleaned with a brush. When I went to the pool around 9:30 AM on Sunday morning, there was trash from the previous day around the pool. This trash should have been collected in the morning. When you look towards the pool, there are electrical cables right in the middle on the opposite side. They might not be live, but they should be hidden. As for breakfast... What I liked most at breakfast was the fried eggs. Other than that, it wasn't a breakfast you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. There were various appetizers, and one of them smelled off. You shouldn't serve appetizers in the summer. Fresh salad items and fruits would be a better option. I didn't like the layout of the breakfast room. People are constantly trying to avoid bumping into each other; the arrangement isn't right. There's only one coffee machine. Also, I'm including a photo of what they call 'kaymak' (clotted cream). You've put this out as kaymak, and foreign guests are eating it, thinking this is what kaymak is. It would be better not to serve it at all. It's probably a starchy product. Unfortunately, the restaurant products are not high quality. Room service prices are excessively high. Yes, they might be a bit high, but these are excessively high. I would consider staying again, but I would also ask the management to pay a bit more attention.

This hotel is really good, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. The only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way, and there aren't many supermarkets or restaurants nearby. Overall, it's good and worth recommending.

The room was very new and nice, just a couple of minor issues: the air conditioning would turn off automatically, and the kettle had a slight problem. Also, the room wasn't cleaned one day.

They didn't come to clean, even when I went down to the front desk and asked for something (like changing the towels). Overall, the hotel is good, but the location is only suitable for those with a car. There's no point staying here without one.
