I think the hotel is overpriced. The hotel is tired, the furniture in the rooms is shabby. We booked a standard room, but in my opinion it is no different from the economy, or we were deceived and settled instead of the standard in the economy))) We lived on the 7th floor from the end of the building, a mosque was seen a little from the window, there is no balcony. They do not have standard rooms with a view of the Bosphorus! Only deluxe rooms with a view. If you come for a walk along the galataport embankment, then the location is very good. Embankment of Galataprot across the road. The Galata tower is nearby, but we never reached it. From Taksim Square (where the Taksim metro went from the airport) we walked to the hotel for about 30 minutes along Istiklal Street from the hill, we wouldn’t go uphill in the opposite direction))) to the center of the Hagia Sophia Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque 5 stops on the T1 tram, stop right next to the hotel. A restaurant on the 9th floor with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, breakfasts are not bad on the buffet system, but I liked it more on the Galataport embankment. If you take breakfast on the spot at the hotel, then they cost 300 lire per person. It is better to book a room immediately with breakfast, it was 500 rubles. The staff is very friendly and helpful with everything. And they respond to requests instantly) They clean up well. Towels are changed every day. Water pressure is good. Noise isolation is good. The mattress is good. When choosing a room, they ticked the king size bed, but in the end it was the usual size.
