Worst hotel, worst staff and worst management I booked and paid online, and when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist treated me at the time of entry with racism and made me pay the reservation value again, although he confirmed with the reservations department that the reservation amount had been received from the site, but he was a bad person. When I received the room, it turned out that the room was different from the pictures on the site, and we were put in a bad room without A view, and when I asked to meet the manager to solve the problem of payment and the room, he refused to meet me. I advise anyone not to choose this bad hotel

No parking for car, I had to park and walk half an hour to hotel. Towels old and not very clean. Breakfast area in the basement and poor choice. Staff don't speak good English. Traffic terrible and noise from tram and cars all day all night. I saw many customers complaining in lobby. Internet not stable and we couldn't connect.

Hotel by the waterfront. The very center of noisy life. Therefore, the noise, din, trams, beggars will be with you. Sleep with earplugs. Room with 2 beds. The first thing we encountered upon entering the room was the smell of sewage. As they explained to us, this is a smell that comes from the Bosphorus. However, when the door to the bathroom was closed, the portal to the Bosphorus closed;). There was actually no cleaning in the room, they only took out the trash and changed the sheets and pillowcases once in 6 days. The towels were changed every day, which is good because they didn’t dry out. The towels are old, not torn, thank you for that). The rooms are very tired, it is clear that they have done a partial renovation, but the feeling of dirt and unkemptness did not leave. Mirrors and tiles are not wiped. An allergy to dust started and went away as soon as we left the room. Every day they provided 2 bottles of water, which is good. The refrigerator did not work well, it was necessary to contact us, but it did not matter to us. We used up the shower gel on the first day and they didn’t add it to us again, even though we contacted the reception. I can’t blame the reception, everyone was quite nice and smiling, but we didn’t voice any particular complaints. When our sink became clogged due to a dropped cap, they quickly sent us a plumber. We rented the hotel for $500 for a week, which is what it cost. It doesn't cost more. Attention to tourists from Russia: Ostrovok.Ru is declared as 4 stars, but it has no stars at all according to Travelocity and Booking, with which I completely agree. The good things are a view of the Bosphorus, close to the bridge, nice employees, many excursions are offered, decent breakfasts (you need to arrive around 8), gorgeous (but dirty) panoramic windows through which it’s nice to watch the bustling city life.

We were there at the beginning of February, we lived on the 5th floor, the view was gorgeous, but the noise and the tram were still very audible at any time. The room was cleaned every day, very clean, everything was ok. Anyone who finds fault with some worn-out baseboards, etc., is nonsense. We don’t look at this and usually enjoy our vacation. Breakfast is boring and monotonous, as they say in the reviews. But you won’t go hungry - there is always soup, fries, eggs and fruit. Vegetables and cheese are portioned on a plate. The hotel has the most convenient location in the entire Sirkeci area. Nearby there is a tram stop and Marmaray and a river port. Getting anywhere is no problem. The rooms were warm, but a couple of times during our stay at night the admins for some reason switched the stove to the air conditioner. Personal is good.
