I stayed at the Ibis Styles Ataşehir Hotel in Ataşehir in İstanbul, Türkiye for three nights and days early this summer and I had a good experience. The hotel is located in Ataşehir which is on the Anatolian side of the city on top of a steep hill on a rather small and narrow street which gives great views from the windows from city view rooms. The location is convenient and very near to a large number of places such as many of the large hospitals and big and tall office towers and other local businesses in the area. It’s a lot of restaurants in the area and You also have several major malls such as Palladium, Emaar Square, Watergarden and of course Metropol in the vicinity. Also the distance from the hotel to the İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, which is quite good too. The hotel room that I was allocated was very nice and it seemed like everything was almost brand new, like very new furniture, seemingly a newly refurbished bathroom and decor. Nice and cool A/C. Electric control panel with lights, master switch and even electric do-not-disturb/clean-room-control buttons on it right beside the large and comfortable King bed. In general over-all clean and fresh room, especially the bathroom. The room had an excellent WiFi connection and a medium size Vestel brand flat screen TV with about 60 TV-channels. There was no issues with any of the channels and there was a variety of Turkish, Arabic, English, German and Russian TV-channels. The TV was wall mounted and built in the mirror wall which was a very cool idea and a good looking setup. I was acknowledged as an Accor ALL Gold member and was given the standard welcome drink voucher, but unfortunately the only choices even at Gold level in this hotel were coffee, tea, mineral water, soda pop /fizzy drinks or a bottle of domestic Efes brand beer. Never had any breakfast or ate at the restaurant but it looked good from what I saw on the menu in the virtual room service ordering system. Even though it was in the last days of June and the beginning of the summer season, there weren’t many other guests who were staying at the hotel, so it was very calm and peaceful. Would recommend this hotel as it’s almost brand-new or very recently refurbished and is located in a quiet and calm neighborhood. Unfortunately no swimming pool though, but the attractive price makes up for it. In all it’s good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
