My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I booked my stay around three weeks in advance, yet when I arrived after a long journey, the receptionist could not find my reservation and initially suggested moving me to a different room the following day, which caused unnecessary stress.
The room I was eventually given was on level -2 (basement). It had almost no natural light, only a tiny window facing the corridor and another window that could not be opened. The room had a terrible smell from the moment I arrived, and I had to ask for an air freshener, which I kept using throughout my stay. On one occasion, I also returned to find the room smelling strongly of cigarette smoke.
The hairdryer and the safe were both broken, and the room showed signs of dampness, making it feel unsuitable for guests. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor and kept disconnecting. When I reported this to reception, instead of apologizing, I was told that the internet was working perfectly, which made me feel that my concerns were simply dismissed.
The attached photos show the cluttered and untidy area outside my room, which was the first thing I saw every time I left or returned to my room.
