Ridiculous staff and wasn't helpful at all. They doesn't care about you at all. I booked my stay in advance with full payment. However, when we reached hotel, ladies on reception said we don't have your booking in our system. We have one lower category room without seaview. You can stay there or you can CANCEL the booking. This is the least you can expect on your first day of your holiday. So without any other choice and we accept it. When we entered that dark loft room. It was Stinky🤢. I immediately rushed to reception to change that room. They said we will only change that room if you haven't use the toilet or room yet. The bedsheet was marked with stains and hairs on it. I wish I could have clicked pictures. I think they give that room to someone as it is. They moved us to other room without Seaview, but room was okay. Next day, they did change our room to seaview but it was standard room not deluxe which we paid for. Room and toilet area was small. Toilet was dirty, I will attach the pictures. Only pictures I have. I can compare it with our previous room, which was more spacious and bathroom was spacious too. Lady on desk offered 30 minutes hamam complimentary on the first day of checkin, which was never left in handover book and hotel staff never cared to arrange it for me and on our last day when I asked for it, nobody knew nothing about it. Reception guy said will check with colleague and it took him ages to confirm I asked around 9-30 to 10 and he came back to me after 12-1, which was our time to go out to explore the city. One more thing no telephone connections in the room. You have to walk to the reception to ask for any help. Absolute horror. I don't know how they get 4* rating, when the service is not even close to a 2* Hotel. We spent money on deluxe room which we never get even for a day and no compensation for that. We are facing horrible vacation as the housekeeper stole my iphone while i gave her my back, the hotel PR was sooo cooled and calm and did nothing for me (just checked the camera upon my request said that’s my responsibility that i got stolen in their hotel !!!! I did a report in police station and the housekeeper already arrested now BUT I NEEED MY PHONE that im 100% sure it’s hidden by the housekeeper in the hotel So. Disappointed and angry!!!!!!!

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The reception team was professional and kind, the room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Had a great stay at BVS Bosphorus Pera. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Istanbul. Good breakfast and overall great value for money. Would recommend!

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The level of cleanliness was extremely poor, to the point that it felt as if the place had never been properly cleaned. The TVs throughout the entire hotel were not working, and none of the rooms had a functioning television system. They seemed to be there merely for decoration. In addition, none of the telephones in the rooms worked, not even for contacting the reception desk or room service. The air conditioning in most of the rooms was broken, and we had to inspect several rooms with hotel staff before finally finding one with a working unit. The bed sheets and blankets were covered with hair and appeared neither to have been changed nor properly cleaned. This was something I had never experienced, even in roadside guesthouses. The bathrooms were extremely dirty, and the towels were stained, looking as though they had never been washed. There were mosquitoes everywhere – in the rooms, bathrooms, and even in the lobby. There were even mosquitoes inside the glasses of water served in the lobby, making it seem as though cleanliness had been neglected for months. Internet router hardly working and I barely had connection in my room and so many times I went to lobby to fix this. Breakfast was also very disappointing. Not only was there very little variety, but once an item ran out, it was never replenished, and the staff simply said they had no more. I even asked for simit, but was told they did not have any. It was surprising to find a hotel in Istanbul that did not even serve simit for breakfast. The overall quality of the breakfast was very poor and certainly did not justify the price of the hotel. I had booked several nights at this hotel, but because of the poor conditions and lack of cleanliness, I checked out the very next morning. I strongly recommend that travelers do not be misled by travel agencies and avoid choosing this place, which is more like a guesthouse than a hotel. Otherwise, you may end up wasting your money and leaving Istanbul with a very unpleasant memory of your trip.
