The hotel's ambiance feels a bit classic, but in a refined way. The lemonade upon check-in was absolutely delicious, the service was incredibly warm, and the breakfast was exquisite – all truly satisfying. The downsides were that there was construction happening outside my window, making it impossible to open it during the day (people were constantly walking by). Also, the evening service left something to be desired. We came back quite late at night and found that our drinking water hadn't been refilled. I was really thirsty, so I called the front desk for water. They agreed to send some, but no one showed up. After waiting half an hour, it was already midnight, so I called again. Finally, someone slowly delivered the water, but by the time they knocked, I was already asleep.

The location is quite good, right by the strait, but the surrounding roads are very narrow and difficult to navigate. The hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries, and the room is a bit small, but the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is also excellent, and the restaurant offers direct views of the mosque and the strait.

The location is excellent, very convenient for visiting attractions near Istanbul. However, the hotel is quite old, the rooms are small, and the facilities are just average. It's a budget-friendly option if you just need a place to crash.

**** BED HUG ALERT!!! **** I recently stayed at Armada Hotel and unfortunately had a mixed experience. I want to start with the positive side: the staff and service were good, and they kindly managed to check us in earlier than expected, which we appreciated after traveling. However, our stay became increasingly disappointing because of several issues with the rooms. The first room did not appear clean, and we only realized the next day that the bedsheets were dirty and even had blood stains on them, which was very unpleasant and unacceptable. We also experienced a problem with the sink, as the water was draining very slowly. The hotel staff tried to help but were unable to fix the issue, so we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room created an even bigger problem. We later discovered what appeared to be bed bugs. After returning from our trip, we developed bites all over our bodies and are still dealing with the effects and recovery, which significantly impacted our overall experience. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts and good customer service, the cleanliness and room conditions were far below expectations. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and improves its standards to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

Great value for money! It's surrounded by all the famous attractions, and you can walk to them in about 20 minutes. If you're coming, definitely stay for a few days. We're here for three weeks this time. The breakfast selection is fantastic – you can have Chinese-style dishes or eat your fill of bread. Taxis are easy to catch, and the beach is just a few dozen meters away. You can walk all the way to the pier from there. The cats are adorable! I'll definitely stay here again next time. Thank you! The owners were wonderful. They allowed us an early check-in for our first morning and even gave us complimentary breakfast (which we sadly missed on our last day due to a flight). Their service is absolutely amazing! Housekeeping was very prompt, and the cleaning lady was very friendly. They are very friendly towards Chinese guests, which is a big plus. It's so much fun to feed the seagulls and other birds while having breakfast on the rooftop.

Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The hotel is right by the sea, and it's also very close to the mosque. The hotel's interior decor is beautiful, with a historical feel but very well maintained. Facilities: The in-room facilities are a bit old, but it doesn't cause any inconvenience. Service: The staff helped deliver luggage to the room and communicated smoothly in English. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety and tastes good. The restaurant view is also unique. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money.

An excellent hotel with a really lovely roof terrace and helpful staff. The location is great right on the waterfront in the old city and it was a perfect base to explore Istanbul.

Stayed at this hotel on my first day in Istanbul, and after exploring the city, I booked it again! The location, ambiance, service, and breakfast are all incredibly good value for money. It'll definitely be my top choice next time I visit Turkey.

Though the room was a bit small, this hotel is steeped in history. You can tell from the various Ottoman-era artifacts displayed in the lobby and the oil paintings hung throughout. The rooftop breakfast offers close-up views of the strait, and you can even get up close with the seagulls – a perfect start to a delightful day. It's also super convenient, just a fifteen-minute walk to both the Blue Mosque and the palace.

Overall, I'm very satisfied, and the food was good too. It's close to the beach and all the main attractions. If I had to find a downside, the WiFi in my room was a bit weak!!

The breakfast is wonderful, but the rooms are too small.  I asked for a room with a double bed and they couldn’t offer me one.  But the worst part was the housekeeper who barged in on my girlfriend just after her shower.  He didn’t knock or give any warning at all.  Creep and *******.  I complained to the management and they just gave me a fruit basket. 😡

Small and exquisite, with a fantastic location right across the street from the beach. The breakfast was delicious, and a special highlight was having seagulls join you for your meal. A really great experience.

Very good hotel, excellent breakfast, extremely well located. Customer service is excellent. The hotel is very clean but could do with a new coat of paint and some general renovation.

Very enjoyable stay at this hotel - staff were lovely, and the room was excellent. We would happily return.
