Zagreb Hotel

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from May 10th to 15th, 2026. The hotel's location is very convenient, just a 7-minute walk from the metro station and 5 minutes from the T1 tram. There are numerous shops close to the hotel, offering a wide selection for every taste and budget. Cafes and restaurants are located closer to the metro station and T1. Currently, the hotel is undergoing renovations on the 1st and 2nd floors, but it doesn't cause any inconvenience to guests unless you specifically use the stairs through those floors. On the 5th floor, there's a small pool with an excellent view of the Marmara Sea. The breakfast offers a good variety of vegetables, fruits, jams, and cheeses. If you enjoy omelets, sausages, and fried liver with vegetables, you won't go hungry. Overall, the hotel left a positive impression. A tip for new guests: avoid rooms facing the main street, as laundry deliveries in the mornings can be a bit disruptive.

Hello! I'm writing this review with immense warmth. I was so worried about where to stay that would be close to attractions, yet quiet and clean. We chose Hotel Zagreb, and I haven't regretted it for a second. I'll start with what's most important to me as a woman: the atmosphere and the staff. At reception, we were greeted with such a genuine smile that all our travel fatigue immediately vanished! And throughout our entire holiday, the staff was like a caring family: they advised us on the best places to go, the cheapest ways to get around, and where to eat late at night. The room. We booked a standard room, but it turned out to be more spacious than I expected from the online photos. Freshly renovated, a comfortable large bed (we slept like logs – which is crucial after walking around Istanbul), and a good mirror with lighting – I could do my makeup easily in the morning. I was especially pleased with the quiet air conditioning and consistent hot water (I was worried this might be an issue in older districts – but no, everything was excellent). Breakfast. This deserves a special 'thank you.' It was hearty and delicious, with both Turkish touches (olives, cheese, delicious pastirma) and familiar European options. It was a huge help that we had such a big breakfast, allowing us to explore until evening without needing to find lunch. The coffee was decent, not instant – which is important to me. The location – simply perfect; the hotel was an ideal base. There are shops and charming little streets all around, where we took a thousand photos. In the evenings, my husband and I returned feeling completely safe. I fell in love with Istanbul. And Hotel Zagreb played a huge part in that. If you're looking for warmth, comfort, and attentive staff – this is the place for you. We will definitely be back, with my girlfriends next time! 💫

Convenient location, 5 minutes to the metro and 10 to the tram. It's in the city center. Breakfasts are good and varied. The room was cleaned every day. There's also a pool and a hammam. We're satisfied.
