A wonderful gem of a hotel in the heart of the Old Town. Stylish, unique and cozy boutique hotel that created a highlight to our 5-day long trip to Istanbul. Located in the midst of historical landmarks, a 10-minute walk to tram, times of cafes and restaurants right outside. I recommend walking further away for better prices for food and drinks though. The breakfast deserves a special ode. The hotel serves a full Turkish breakfast, and it’s something to behold! There is complimentary tea and cookies downstairs at all times. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt like part of the family. Thank you!

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable from the start. The breakfast was superb, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit different tastes. What truly stood out, however, was the staff—they were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. On our first day, they kindly provided us with a map of Istanbul and took the time to explain how to reach nearby tourist attractions, which made exploring the city much easier. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

A great hotel choice in the old town, a 5-minute walk from Hagia Sofia. Most of the restaurants on the main street are tourist traps, but the hotel's side streets are quieter. The rooms are very clean, and the management is excellent. The breakfasts are surprisingly good. Highly recommended!

Stayed at this hotel from 24.03 to 26.03 families (2 adults and a child). Amenities: *proximity to historical sites *good breakfast Cons: *it was impossible to sleep at night: the cries of seagulls and cats did not let us sleep *the room is stuffy, it is impossible to sleep without an open window, and with an open window you can hear the cries of seagulls, cats and ship signals *the location is among hostels, crowds of schoolchildren and students nearby *there is a street with street cafes nearby, which you cannot walk past calmly (insistent cafe employees pester) *it is impossible to drive up to the hotel: a dead-end street, clogged with parking cars, as a result, you need to be prepared for the fact that you will have to drag your suitcases along the cobblestones yourself (this is not indicated when booking)

It is in a great location for visiting Istanbul's key sites, including Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The staff are all very friendly. I arrived early in the morning, and I was really grateful that they prepared it in advance so that I could check in. And most of all, the breakfast was really, really great. I thought it would be good after reading other people's reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. I tried to try everything, but I had a hard time eating too much, and the food types changed every day, so I got another fun experience.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. Well located and the breakfasts are tasty, although a bit monotonous. The staff is hospitable and helpful. Now about the downsides: a noisy room next to the entrance - a conversation with the administrator can be heard as if he is 2 meters away from you. I asked for a double, they promised to satisfy the request, but in fact there were two pushed together beds. Every midnight the Internet was disconnected, which in itself is inconvenient (after all, it took 3-4 minutes to turn it on), but on the last night, that is, 12 hours before check-out, the password (my passport) stopped working. I am sure you can overcome the last problem quite quickly if you want.

The room is large and the terrace is also very large. It is very warm and comfortable, especially suitable for a family of four. Very close to Sofia and the Blue Mosque. However, because it is a scenic spot, the places to eat around are very expensive.

Отдыхали в отеле Poem hotel в конце июля. От отеля впечатление остались самые благоприятные, несмотря на то что он не новый и есть некоторые несовершенства. Постельное белье чистое, полотенца белые, шампунь/гель для душа в больших диффузорах, не надо мучиться с маленькими пузырьками. Вода не бутылированная, а налита в стеклянные многоразовые бутылки. Поэтому мы покупали воду в магазинчике рядом. Персонал весь очень доброжелательный, улыбчивый, готовый помочь во всем. Завтраки – это отдельная история. Подается традиционный турецкий завтрак. Много маленьких тарелочек с разными закусками. Конечно, многое мы не ели, но было очень интересно, а тем объемом привычной нам еды можно наесться очень надолго. И главное, все, что мы пробовали и ели, было очень вкусное. Особенно блины, они были похожи на блины моей мамы, мы даже один раз попросили добавку. И если я вернусь в этот отель, то ради них. Расположение отеля хорошее, недалеко находится площадь Султанахмет, это самый исторический центр и там же остановка трамвая Т1, маршрут которого очень удобен для передвижения по городу. Плюсов у отеля еще много, но все-таки хочу упомянуть один настораживающий момент. В нашем случае ситуация разрешилась благоприятно, но остался неприятный осадок. Мы заказывали у отеля трансфер из аэропорта. Приготовили 60€ без сдачи. Так как отель был уже оплачен, по приезде рассчитались только за проезд. Просто отдали деньги, не получив никакого подтверждения. Трансфер удобен, не надо связываться с такси (у нас был также неприятный опыт с турецким такси), нас встретили, довезли все хорошо. На обратный путь также решили заказать трансфер до аэропорта. И когда я стала расплачиваться за него, мужчина на ресепшене (я забыла его имя, но, кстати, это он нас втречал в первый день) сказал, что было 2 трансфера и я должна 120€ и что я не оплатила первый. На мои возражения он смотрел в компьютер, рылся в ящиках стола и говорил, что оплата не отмечена и денег нет. Так как мой уровень владения английским низкий, я позвала свою дочь. Когда мы вернулись, он сказал, что, наверное, "просто забыл об оплате". Непонятно, что это было, то ли он нашел деньги, то ли вспомнил об оплате, то ли решил показаться добрым. Надо хотя бы как-то проговаривать, что деньги отданы, если уж квитанцию не дают. Сумма, конечно, не критичная, но сама ситуация, в которой ты не можешь доказать ничем свою правоту, оставляет неприятное впечатление. Если не заострять внимание на некоторых моментах, характерных для этой страны, то отдых прошел отлично. Стамбул большой, красивый, интересный город. Еще осталось много мест, которые хотелось бы посмотреть, так что однозначно еще вернемся. В этот отель или в другой отель ближе к Галатской башне, еще не решили. Но Poem hotel могу честно рекомендовать для поездок.

В отеле замечательно абсолютно всё: приветливый неравнодушный персонал, превосходные завтраки, чистый, свежий и уютный номер. Мы жили в комнате 101 с видом на внутренний двор и выходом на индивидуальную веранду, окруженную цветущим садом.
