A lovely stay. The staff were very kind, and attentive, from the moment I arrived. My room was small, so perfect for one. The bed takes up most of the space, so it would be a bit cozy for two people. Dinner in the rooftop restaurant was great, the entire hotel was spotless, and the location is perfect. It's on a busy street, but don't let that dissuade you. It's a short walk to the tram, or to the sites nearby. My only dislike was there is no security bar on the door, but there is a deadbolt. Most definitely, I will book my stay here in the future.

The breakfast is not as delicious as the Peninsula in Shanghai, but it is better than the beautiful scenery. The location is really great and worth staying. The service was very good. Because we were on our honeymoon with my husband, we sent an email to the hotel and prepared champagne and cake for us. btw, the chocolate cake given is delicious!

The location is just perfect. The design is really elegant with amazing lighting at the room. Hotel staff at the reception are great and they are really helpful. Only the house keeping really need to be trained as they’re always came in to the room without ringing the bell and said nothing even not to close the door directly. It did happened 3 times in our stay, when i just had finished my shower. Next, i hope they could be more concern about guest privacy.

Arrived last Friday evening, nice welcome, was informed I had to pay for my room, I had pre-paid, which on inspection, it was agreed I didn't have to pay again.... Dinner on Friday night was exquisite, fabulous service, amazing food, expensive but worth it, the restaurant and rooftop bar are independent of the hotel. Saturday morning, went for a lovely breakfast, back to the room and realised my room door did not lock, informed reception, and a gentleman arrived shortly afterward to check the door. Firstly he said it was my key card that was at fault. When I asked if I could show him the issue, he rolled his eyes and said no. When he did allow me to demonstrate, he walked away from me saying it was technical. I had to call after him to see if it would be fixed, he did not turn around but walking away said, ten minutes. the door was fixed eventually but the whole episode took around an hour. Before I left the hotel (11:20am) I dropped a dress at reception to be pressed. I got back to the hotel just before 9pm, went to my room, no dress, down at reception i asked where it was, the gentleman on reception called the laundry service, and at the end of the call, I had to ask what was happening. I was told laundry would call him back. He then asked what I had left, colour etc. so it could have been in the laundry in a sister hotel, I would get it on Sunday. I explained I was leaving on Sunday and needed the dress now, if it hadn't been ironed yet, to just return it to me.

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

dirty towels, small room with bed dirty smell cigarette with very very small toilet. Impolit chef in kitchen who is very crazy shouting on people always prepare the tastless food that you can take only one plate. They don't have open buffet.The receptionist is impolite. The local is horrible you feel that you are with criminal people and very dangerous not safe. I advise you not visit this place

This hotel stay was very good. The breakfast was amazing. Very large spread of food items to choose. Every day they change some items. Everyone enjoys the breakfasts. Families and friends. Staff at breakfast service are excellent. Overall good service. If any issues just call the reception and they will try best to assist. We chose this hotel because is was good prices during the peak july summer month. It also has fitness centre. We also were careful to choose room with shower alone and not bathtub. Also, the hotel was very good on booking.com chat. They answered all my questions on the chat. Perfect location near to taksim and istiklal walking street. Many nearby restaurants and supermarkets open till late night. Not boring area. Booked again for an august stay. Thank you Nippon Team. See you soon.

Very good hotel and management, clean, tidy and has an excellent location. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful, available 24/7, and ready to answer all questions. I took the family suite and it was as advertised and very good, complete with a good size kitchenette and 2 bedrooms. The air conditioning was very good. Easy to access the Galata area (amazing street that stays open till 1 AM, lots of good restaurants and stores to explore. Short walk distance to Istiklal street and the Galata Port area. Very close to the tram station, and walking to Fatih and the old city attractions is doable if the weather is good (about 30 minutes walk). The only thing that can be better is there internet, it is fast but disconnects as soon as your phone/device’s screen turn down. So, no one will be able to call you on What’sApp for example unless you are on your phone at that moment. Other than that, it is an amazing place to stay in while in Istanbul. You can get a better price if you email them directly, (the initial price on Hotel.com was much higher than the one I got after contacting them directly. A big Thank You to Akin, Mehmet and all the front desk staff.

We would like to note the incredibly responsive staff: as welcoming, customer-oriented and kind. Managing on the respiratory - Sevim - miracle! Incredibly sweet and empathic to all the people. It is she who provided the best service we have ever met, for which she is so grateful! At night she is replaced by the no less welcome Laziz, who is also ready to come for help. The room is excellent: stylish, with all the facilities and a stunning view on Bosphorus. Location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to the Galatian Bridge, 5 minutes to the Galatian Tower. It would be delighted to return to this hotel again thanks to the service, it is here at the height!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Mixed review. THE GOOD *Mahmoud and reception gave a lovely welcome, helpful, friendly. Communication was prompt and they are both brilliant. *The location is quiet and hotel generally clean. *We stay in Istanbul often, the most comfy beds we have found, 2 different size pillows appreciated. *Opening door to balcony so allow very hot air to escape as hotel is extremely hot even when room controls are turned off. THE NOT SO GOOD *Rooms are small, bathrooms stupidly small. You cannot bend over in shower to pick up something. For a new hotel they are using linen and towels years old, thin and worn through. *Sofa is so hard you cannot sit on it, forget using as an extra bed, sleep on floor as probably softer. *Zero light blocking in back rooms, they hung up blackout to try to fix problem, needs addressing. *No thought to where kettle plugs in, we had to balance it on sofa arm and connect to power from there, kettle does not self turn off when boiled, keeps going, beware as fire hazard. *Apparently still work to complete as wires taped up in room and fridge to be added. *No hot water one evening, addressed quickly by staff but had to wait for it to be fixed and water reheated for all of hotel before we could shower and go to sleep that night. *Room was far smaller than it appears in photos, think tiny.

Since my trip to Turkey was light, I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I came with a price of about 80,000 won. There is air conditioning inside, and especially there is a rooftop such as that sofa on the roof, so I made a reservation. It is located in the middle of the city, so it is very convenient to get around the city. The view from the rooftop is great, and it's not a view looking down, so if you want to see the whole view looking down, you can walk to Sunsat Point for 10 minutes. The accommodation is clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are all friendly.

We chose it mainly because of its Istanbul sea view. The scenery is also top-notch. Because of this view, our room will have several steps. The inconvenience is understandable, and the luggage is almost the boss one. The air conditioner that is carried up is also powerful. The balcony is very spacious. The boss is also enthusiastic and willing to help with any problems. It’s just that the location of the apartment is a little hard to find (first time). If it’s one or two beautiful women, you have to worry a little bit about yourself. Because the main entrance is in a small alley, it’s hard to get in and out of the big car. In short, the price is relatively high. Apartment ❤️ I personally may choose to stay again⋯
