Novotel Hotels in Istanbul

This is no Novotel My stay at Novotel Istanbul Bosphorus was quite disappointing overall, especially considering the reputation and expected standard of the hotel. First of all, the rooms are very inconsistent. Some rooms have terrible or completely underwhelming views, which makes the stay feel less enjoyable, especially when you are visiting a city like Istanbul where you expect a Bosphorus experience. It feels like room allocation is random, and unless you specifically push for a better option, you may end up with a disappointing view. In many cases, guests are either asking for a refund, requesting a room change, or trying to get an upgrade as a last option just to make the stay acceptable. The process feels slow and not well organized. Breakfast was another weak point. The variety is very limited, and the quality does not match expectations for a hotel of this category. It feels basic and repetitive, and definitely not something you would expect from a hotel near the Bosphorus aiming for a premium experience. Parking is another downside. It is not free, 20 dollars which adds unnecessary extra cost to the stay. For a hotel in this range, guests usually expect at least more convenience or better value in this area. Overall, I would rate this hotel as a 3-star experience at best, mainly because of the location near the Bosphorus. The location is the only real strong point, but everything else—from service to breakfast to room experience—does not fully match the price or expectations.

I had disastrous accommodation booking and decided to look around the area to find a place to move to. So happy to find this gem of a hotel who accommodated me with early check in and also did their best to meet my requests. Location is ideal and the views from my room were spectacular day and night. Thank you to all the staff in rooms division. The hotel is still fairly new so the resto isn't set up yet. Breakfast was great. I ended my stay with hammam and Balinese massage. Will stay here again.

A great hotel that I can warmly recommend. The breakfast was incredibly good. The facilities met my expectations. The pool was a decent size and was cleaned regularly. I enjoyed visiting the sauna in the late afternoon, followed by a walk along the sea and exploring the nearby restaurants.
