The breakfast on the 2nd floor is rich in European style, which is very suitable for foreign travelers who stay in Turkey for a long time. There is a local boutique CESME 1720 Turkish bath in the basement. Unfortunately, there is not enough time to enjoy it (there are discounts for hotel guests). The overall hotel is exquisite and elegant. On the same day, we took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and met the notorious Turkish driver. Fortunately, we met The kind hotel manager checked in and listened to our bumpy journey experience and gave us the welcome drink on the top floor, which immediately made you feel calm and comfortable. For the happiness of Taurus male travel, it is whether the hotel makes you satisfied. Five-star praise will go again next time Istanbul will definitely visit again!

Just returned from a long weekend in Istanbul with a friend. We really liked the Azzap it's very central and well within walking distance of the usual sights. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with a lovely reception area which looks both smart and welcoming. Yes the hotel rooms are small - but it's a city hotel, what do you expect!? The beds are extremely comfortable, with lovely pillows and linen, the rooms are well insulated, I know there were people next door to me and I other than their door opening or closing I couldn't hear anything else. I was in the room above my friend and he couldn't hear me walking around. The windows open properly, so you can leave them open when you leave and the housekeeper can close them when she has done the room. I love an aired hotel room! Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the top floor so you get a great view, the choice is small but it's fine and the lady at breakfast is always cheerful and helpful. Ther are couple of things I would like to mention, but this is just for the management to take on board... *the room safes are not bolted in which is pretty pointless, guests might not realise this and leave valuables. We kept ours with us. * I loved the fact that you had to swipe your door key to go to your floor - the lift won't stop unless it is yours, you can't press any other buttons other than your own. Fantastic! * except.... you can walk from one floor to another using the stairs * the carpet on the 6th floor when you get out of the lift to go to the restaurant and bar sees a massive amount of traffic - it looks really grubby All in all, we had a great time, I'd have no hesitation recommending the Azzap.

The location is just perfect. The design is really elegant with amazing lighting at the room. Hotel staff at the reception are great and they are really helpful. Only the house keeping really need to be trained as they’re always came in to the room without ringing the bell and said nothing even not to close the door directly. It did happened 3 times in our stay, when i just had finished my shower. Next, i hope they could be more concern about guest privacy.

A lovely stay. The staff were very kind, and attentive, from the moment I arrived. My room was small, so perfect for one. The bed takes up most of the space, so it would be a bit cozy for two people. Dinner in the rooftop restaurant was great, the entire hotel was spotless, and the location is perfect. It's on a busy street, but don't let that dissuade you. It's a short walk to the tram, or to the sites nearby. My only dislike was there is no security bar on the door, but there is a deadbolt. Most definitely, I will book my stay here in the future.

Because we were on our honeymoon with my husband, we sent an email to the hotel and prepared champagne and cake for us. btw, the chocolate cake given is delicious!

Arrived last Friday evening, nice welcome, was informed I had to pay for my room, I had pre-paid, which on inspection, it was agreed I didn't have to pay again.... Dinner on Friday night was exquisite, fabulous service, amazing food, expensive but worth it, the restaurant and rooftop bar are independent of the hotel. Saturday morning, went for a lovely breakfast, back to the room and realised my room door did not lock, informed reception, and a gentleman arrived shortly afterward to check the door. Firstly he said it was my key card that was at fault. When I asked if I could show him the issue, he rolled his eyes and said no. When he did allow me to demonstrate, he walked away from me saying it was technical. I had to call after him to see if it would be fixed, he did not turn around but walking away said, ten minutes. the door was fixed eventually but the whole episode took around an hour. Before I left the hotel (11:20am) I dropped a dress at reception to be pressed. I got back to the hotel just before 9pm, went to my room, no dress, down at reception i asked where it was, the gentleman on reception called the laundry service, and at the end of the call, I had to ask what was happening. I was told laundry would call him back. He then asked what I had left, colour etc. so it could have been in the laundry in a sister hotel, I would get it on Sunday. I explained I was leaving on Sunday and needed the dress now, if it hadn't been ironed yet, to just return it to me.

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

This hotel stay was very good. The breakfast was amazing. Very large spread of food items to choose. Every day they change some items. Everyone enjoys the breakfasts. Families and friends. Staff at breakfast service are excellent. Overall good service. If any issues just call the reception and they will try best to assist. We chose this hotel because is was good prices during the peak july summer month. It also has fitness centre. We also were careful to choose room with shower alone and not bathtub. Also, the hotel was very good on booking.com chat. They answered all my questions on the chat. Perfect location near to taksim and istiklal walking street. The location is very good .5 minutes from Sisane Metro Station and 10 minutes from Milata Bridge where trams and buses pass to Besictas ,Ortaquioi ,Bebec,Dolma Bahce .Also if you cross the bridge , On the other side I am the area of Eminon which has transportation for all interesting sights :Sacred Sofia ,Top Cape ,Blue Jam ,Hydraulic,Big Market ,Patriarchal. In just 2 minutes you are in the Milk Tower and its beautiful square .

You can take tram route 1 below the hotel to almost all the most important places in Istanbul. The hotel is really clean and the toilets are also very clean, which is very good. And all the staff are very friendly. I wanted to check out late, but he did it without hesitation and booked a very friendly taxi to the airport. It is not easy to find such a friendly taxi driver in Istanbul. This is a very pleasant experience.

Coming with friends for a two-night stay in Istanbul, we chose this hotel for its central location and attractive price. The receptionist was waiting for us outside despite a late arrival (2am). The room was very decent (1 bedroom with 2 double beds - 1 with 1 double bed), shower and sanitary facilities in excellent condition. The shower was even changed during our stay, to our great (but pleasant) surprise. Although the hotel is still under construction (finishing), we recommend it for anyone looking for a central place to sleep and be able to enjoy the city of Istanbul!
